@oneroomchallenge NURSERY REVEAL ✨ Why balloons you ask? I stole these from our baby shower because as much as I I wanted to hang all the artwork, I don’t want to nail a bunch of holes in our new pretty walls until we officially know the gender 😅 so a celebratory balloon post felt fitting since we are 95% complete!!! 🎈 I’ll have a nursery 2.0 reveal coming at you once baby arrives, but in the meantime, here she is in all her glory! Remember how I couldn’t find a dresser after our IKEA debacle? I had this one in our garage that ended up working out so beautifully! We just need to add drawer sliders and new handles. It’s not picture perfect yet, but we’re working with what we got! Here’s what we did & used for our nursery: ▫️Painted the walls, trim and ceilings “Spanish Olive” by @benjaminmoore ▫️Added wall moulding on all 4 walls ▫️Installed a new closet ▫️Assembled our sweet vintage-inspired crib by @milliondollarbabyclassic ▫️Added the comfiest swivel glider from @kincaidfurniture ▫️Chose a fun, unexpected lamp from @crateandbarrel ▫️Incorporated a neutral plaid rug from @studiomcgee @target for some pattern play Still to do: ▫️Hang artwork ▫️Add new handles to the dresser ▫️Hang curtains (we wanted these to be more gender-inspired so we had to wait on these too) Thank you for following along on our first-ever @oneroomchallenge project! It’s Week 1 of @oneroomchallenge and we can’t wait to start on Baby White’s nursery!!! We are *not* finding out the gender of our baby, which makes this project particularly fun (and not stressful at all 😅) This week I’m sharing our mood board for the space! I stole the artwork out of our family room because I loved the soft, mid-tones and thought it would be a great inspiration piece for the look and feel I’m going for.
