Me luck dip camp fridge whispered softly in me ear, that there are 6 varieties awaiting my elbow bend and swig and its Fridee, so I'm up for a session. The thing that strikes me with this can is that it reminds me of a rock icon who passed away this week, Ignatius Jones, from Jimmy and the boys. It's a beer that's throwing me a little as it's an American wheat but it's also a Stone cold hazy. In true Ignatius style, this is music for your mouth. A nice balance of stone fruit and citrus with a wheat backbone. At 4.7 on the richter and 1.4 stds, thanks to the man can 😃, as the brewer claims, this is a session beer for all you brew thirst punks, or as I like to say bogans. Day 3: Thought it was gonna be a wash out and started to plan accordingly; reading, games, indoor activities. Then I had a stroke of “genius”, ignore all that and just do outside stuff anyway… First off hit up Silverband Falls followed by Lakeview Lookout, then picked up some poor bloke who was walking from Halls Gap to Wonderland Carpark after descending from the Pinnacle but preferred not to walk in the rain. After that it was off Lake Bellfield to get a closer look after the view from the lookout, then onto Fyans Creek. A quick stop off at Paper Scissors Rock for lunch before heading out to Beehive Falls, the Giant Koala at Dadswell Bridge, then onto an abandoned quarry mining settlement, Heatherlie Quarry/Township. Still playing tomorrow by ear but will at least be going to Hollow Mountain, see you on the other side!

Grampians National Park. So much to explore from sunrise to sunset. MacKenzie Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in Victoria (40m). Spectacular views over the surrounding forested peaks as well as down over the top of Mackenzie Falls from Cranage's Lookout. Reed Lookout with stunning views over the entire Victoria Valley, Victoria Range, Serra Range, Lake Wartook and the Mt Difficult Range. The Balconies are unusual rock formations that stick out of the mountain. More panoramic views of Victoria Valley and the surrounding ranges. The view of Lake Bellfield from the Boroka Lookout was incredible. Halls Gap is a lovely mountain town & it has a Brewery - Paper, Scissors, Rock! Red ‘67 Red IPA from Halls Gap’s @paper_scissors_rock_brew_co is an absolute ball-tearer! Bold, with its big American hops and sweet malty base, it lives up to the label suggesting this beer will “push you back in your seat and have you singing soul into the sunset”. Awesome label too, depicting the epic vistas on the drive from Dunkeld to Halls Gap in the Grampians. 👌🏼🚘
