Using this antique painting as my inspiration, the request for this plant laden “play room” was to remove all the plants and toys and transform it into a cozy small recovery room for a family member who recently underwent some strenuous medical treatment. My goal is to create a space that makes you feel like you are wrapped in an impossibly soft blanket, watching the endless birds, while enjoying a hot cup of tea.
