From supporting local families through the Coastside Hope and Abundant Grace programs to installing Little Libraries around the community and helping the Senior Coastsiders program. They also helped raise $12,000 for Cancer research via Relay for Life and recently contributed $10,000 to the local Alzheimer’s/Dementia Adult Day Care center with proceeds from their Magic of the Coastside fundraiser. Le vendredi 15 septembre, quelques membres de notre club ont participé avec enthousiasme au concours de la meilleure asperge du monde, organisé de manière chaleureuse par nos amis du club de Pampelune @rotaryclubpamplona . Cette journée mémorable s'est conclue par une passation de présidence et un échange de fanions dans l'ambiance conviviale de la Bodega Pago de Cirsus. Le jour suivant, nous avons accompagné nos amis jusqu'à la forêt d'Orgi, où nous avons fait don de livres en français à leur bibliothèque au cœur de la nature. Face à la catastrophe au Maroc, nous avons contacté notre club contact sur place pour leur demander leurs besoins. Voici une liste des besoins élaborée par les associations locales des zones sinistrés 🙏🏡 Soutenez les familles touchées par le récent tremblement de terre au Maroc, laissant de nombreuses familles sans abri et dans le besoin. Alors que les secours s'activent dans les villes, les régions rurales avoisinantes, enclavées, sont désespérément en quête d'aide. ❤️ Ensemble, nous pouvons faire une différence. Chaque don compte, peu importe sa taille. Chaque dirham, chaque euro contribue à reconstruire des vies et à apporter de l’espoir aux personnes touchées. Les équipes présentes sur place ont identifié les besoins les plus urgents et travaillent sans relâche pour apporter une aide humanitaire immédiate aux populations touchées par la tragédie : 💧EAU Les familles touchées endurent des températures élevées sans un approvisionnement adéquat en eau. ⛺️ TENTES La peur persiste, et de nombreuses familles dorment dehors par crainte de retourner dans leurs appartements endommagés. 🥛 LAIT POUR ENFANTS Distribuer du lait pour nourrissons afin de répondre à leur besoin vital. 🥘 REPAS CHAUDS Offrir des repas chauds pour donner de la force et soutenir les rescapés 🛏️ COUVERTURES Protéger les survivants des conditions extrêmes (froid, pluie...) 🧡 Chaque contribution, aussi infime soit-elle, peut faire la différence. 🧡 Chaque seconde compte et chaque personne sauvée est une victoire.
