We are excited about the upcoming exhibition at WestLicht Museum in Vienna (@westlichtvienna) opening up this week. ___ The show is addressing the phenomenon of the paparazzi – the photographers who seek out and follow celebrities, or crash events to which they weren't invited in order to photograph them in their most unguarded moments. The public's opinion is probably mostly negative, but the relationship between the photographers and the protagonists is much more complex. The exhibition at WestLicht is going to visualize the controversial aspects of the genre from the birth of the paparazzi in Italy in the 1960s to its prime decades between the 70s until early 2000s. We are proud to have contributed more than 50 photographs by various photographers to this show in Vienna.
