Synopsis : Alexandre vit à Lyon avec sa femme et ses enfants. Un jour, il découvre par hasard que le prêtre qui a abusé de lui aux scouts officie toujours auprès d’enfants. Il se lance alors dans un combat, très vite rejoint par François et Emmanuel, également victimes du prêtre, pour « libérer leur parole » sur ce qu’ils ont subi. Tout simplement magnifique ! @ozonfrancois livre ici un film à la fois touchant et percutant, ce combat de plusieurs hommes contre un prêtre qui leur a faire subir des actes effroyables lorsqu’ils étaient enfants. Dénis Menochet, Melvil Poupaud et Swann Arlaud sont exceptionnel chacun dans leur rôle. On va parlé ici des conséquences des abus, comment chacun s’est développé suite à ceci, les chocs psychologiques, mais leur combat, leur courage de « parler » va donner envie a d’autres victimes de se libérer de leur paroles ! On va mettre en avant, la négligence de la hiérarchie du prêtre, qui l’a défendu, l’a couvert durant toute ces années…. C’est scandaleux ! Le film est ultra réaliste, chaque scène développe une certaine tension, que les antagonistes ont besoin de soutien, auprès de leur familles, amis…. Swann Arlaud est vraiment celui qui va vous touchez le plus, par son vécu, sa situation familiale et surtout toute ses crises qui rejaillissent. C’est un portrait d’hommes fragiles mais jamais faibles qui s’unissent contre l’injustice ! The Pod Generation - ★★ (2023) Directed by Sophie Barthes 40/100 The artificiality of having a baby inside a capsule with the idea that pregnancy will not become a hardship for women who must carry them in their womb for 9 months is the heart of this film even as the movie delves into conflicting ideologies regarding technology and the potential societal implications of such a transformation. The Pod Generation aspires to be thought-provoking, and its timing are clearly timely and opportunistic, but the underlying premise is so simplified that it feels like a mere essay that never emphasizes anything of real relevance to its plot. Moreover, you have to add the absence of on-screen chemistry between Emilia Clarke and Chiwetel Ejiofor and both seem to be out of sync with the story itself, and it becomes more than difficult to not only believe in their relationship but also to evoke genuine concern for the unfolding events in their journey. In its pursuit of a significant objective, The Pod Generation embarked on a a very long walk but lost sight of the finish line. CRITIQUE - MON CRIME . Women Power . Alors que son TOUT C'EST BIEN PASSÉ me hante tellement je n'avais pas aimé ( je compte pas PETER VON KANT que je n'ai pas encore vu ), François Ozon revient avec un film beaucoup plus léger sur le fond et la forme. Et ça fait du bien. Comme pour son film POTICHE à l'époque ( que je vous recommande au passage ), Ozon adapte une pièce de théâtre pour le cinéma. Et comme pour POTICHE à l'époque, ce film met un peu de fraîcheur et de gaieté dans sa filmographie. Car si on la regarde, on a souvent droit à des drames plus ou moins réussi ( ÉTÉ 85 c'est bien, L'AMANT DOUBLE non ) et même si ce n'est pas lui à l'origine des scénarios, ça offre une belle pause pour ceux qui suivent sa filmographie de près. Remplie de bon mots et situations comique, le film est vraiment très drôle. Mais au delà du scénario, la grande force vient du casting féminin principal. Le duo formé par Nadia Tereszkiewicz et Rebecca Marder est absolument parfait. L'alchimie fonctionne à merveille. Le reste du casting s'en sort également plutôt bien, sauf les apparitions de Dany Boon qui nous fait un accent marseillais à couper au couteau qui relève plus de la parodie qu'autre chose. I’ll review a romantic comedy film title that I watched 🎥🎞 A Royal Night Out (2015) ロイヤル・ナイト 英国王女の秘密の外出 This movie is based on the true story of 19-year-old Queen Elizabeth who was unofficially allowed to go out, this drama depicts a one-night-only adventure in which she incognito and enjoyed her freedom. In the streets on Victory Day, the film shows a princess who comes into contact with the lives of ordinary people for the first time and becomes aware of her responsibilities as a ruler through numerous encounters. The plot of movie is about, on May 8, 1945, people were celebrating Victory Day in London, where the war with Germany had come to an end. Realizing that if she misses this opportunity, she will never get another chance, 19-year-old "Princess Elizabeth" begs her father in order to go outside, “King George VI”, to leave the palace. She manages to get permission, and goes to the hotel with her younger sister "Margaret" in stylish fashion. I thought about this film, the story of a queen hiding her identity as a queen and enjoying the night among the citizens was reminiscent of “Roman holidays”. this is equal to the modern version of that film. The staff could find well of actress who closely resembles an original Queen Elizabeth! It was a romantic love story that overcame the class system, but the story was very fast-moving, and it was so well made that I couldn't believe it was a biographical film. Even as a queen, I could see how difficult to behave neatly and no matter where she goes, and I was very impressed by the scene where she was able to enjoy the lifestyle of ordinary people. ⭐️⭐️,5/5 Je n’avais pas particulièrement d’attentes pour ce film. Je n’ai jamais regardé la série ni lu les livres dont sont tirée le film, j’ai surtout été voir pour admirer la performance de Gérard Depardieu. Malheureusement, Maigret n’a pas remporté un franc succès de mon côté… Il n’y a pas réellement d’intrigue. L’enquête pourrait se résoudre en quelques minutes, et il n’y a pas tellement d’enjeux pour le spectateur qui comprend la clé de l’énigme dès les premières scènes. Tout est plat, il n’y a qu’à suivre une ligne directrice toute bête, aucune révélation intéressante. L’ambiance est très morose, très sombre. L’atmosphère est pesante. Depardieu joue à merveille un Maigret fatigué, las et usé par la vie. Ce n’est pas tant sa performance que j’ai trouvé très juste, que le personnage en lui-même que je n’ai pas trop apprécié. Disons que j’aurais pu apprécier la morosité du personnage si l’intrigue était intéressante, mais ce n’était vraisemblablement pas le cas. Tout était vide, extrêmement lent alors que le film est pourtant relativement court. Bref, sans intérêt. Je pense que le film peut plaire à un certain public. Je ne peux qu’attester du travail du réalisateur qui est tout de même remarquable, parvenant à créer une ambiance si singulière et sinistre. Malheureusement, ça n’a pas pris sur moi !
