Imagine You’re walking through the arcade, on a chilly autumn morning and as you walk up, you notice this beautiful, warming light beaming from a shop. There is something telling you that you must come in. It’s a strong urge. You peer through the window, and all your senses are buzzing. You have a spare 10 minutes, so why not. As you open the door, “Wow” you say to yourself, but it comes out louder than you thought. As you take your first steps inside, the shop is not only drawing you in, but also giving you a big warm hug at the same time. There is a sweet smell that sweeps across you, and there is a gentle but upbeat tune playing in the background. You close the door behind you, and you’re greeted by Kate, the owner. The outside noise stops. It’s just you, in a shop, that is so beautiful, calm, and welcoming, and with the door shuts, it makes you feel like you aren’t even in Nowra. You take your time browsing the wall with all the incredibly sweet baby rompers, dusty pink dresses, and the most perfect little boy’s linen suit that you have ever seen. You walk around the handmade table in the middle of the shop, with neatly presented baby hampers, new winter beanies, a range of baby books, and soft toys that are the perfect gift. You explain to Kate that you have no babies to buy for, but the urge to come in and view the shop was so strong, and it did not disappoint. Kate explains that she gets this a lot and is just happy that people can take the time out to come and visit and experience her beautiful shop. Please support your local business.
