Today was a long day. Unexpected ER trip this morning since my feeding tube decided to fall out of my stomach when I stood up and then I collapsed on the kitchen floor. And I started leaking blood and fluid on me and soaked through my cloths (including my lululemon leggings). Not pleasant and depressing. But in the IR team was able to replace my tube so praying to god this never happens. Honestly horrifying experience, but thankfully got it taken care of and am able to get back to infusions. GRATITUDE I'm working on a house right now that I can't believe people even lived in it. I had to clear out all the rubbish, dead mice and droppings. I saw things that even had tags on them still but the smell was so bad I threw it all out. There was a desk and this chair that wouldn't fit into the dumpster so I put a FREE sign on them and set them next to the road. The desk got picked up right away but the chair remained. As I was cleaning on the house the other day, I needed to get higher to reach the top of the walls. How the heck? I didn't bring a step ladder or anything. LITTLE voice in my head reminded me of the chair sitting by the side of the road so I went and got it and it was perfect for what I needed. “Caught in a (grease) trap”. Easily the grossest thing to happen to me today was to somehow dislodge the lid to the grease trap as I removed an errant bromeliad. Just like in the story of the giant turnip, I pulled with a lot of force and to my great dismay my foot did not find solid ground, but instead came down with a giant splash. This is me standing with great stillness whilst I finally comprehend what had happened. Prior to the scream of horror and a colourful spray of swear words. I pulled my overflowing gumboot from the mire and washed it out thoroughly and threw out my socks. Die Enkelkinder werden zwei Jahre 🎉 Passend zum zweiten Geburtstag, war das Motto Two Wild.🦓🦏🐆🦒🐘. Heute gibt es die eine Torte, demnächst folgt die zweite😘. Von den Eltern war eine Nusstorte gewünscht. Also hatte ich den Wunderkuchen mit Mandeln versehen, diesen gebacken und in vier Böden geteilt. Die Füllung bestand aus einer Mascarpone, Sahne Creme. Unter die Creme hatte ich eine Mandelncreme gehoben und darauf zerkleinerte Giotto (Werbung/unbezahlt) verteilt. Außen wurde die Torte mit einer Marshmallow Buttercreme, welche ich zum Teil mit der Mandelcreme oder mit Farbe versehen hatte, eingestrichen. Einen Drip aus weißer Schokolade hatte ich stellenweise auf der Torte angebracht. Die Tiere und die Blätter hatte ich aus Fondant hergestellt, wobei der Elefant etwas zu dunkel geworden ist. Der Baby Gepard und der Papagei sind von Schleich (Werbung/unbezahlt) dazugekommen.
