My personal soulcare recipe: • Beginne deinen Tag langsam, mit etwas das du magst, wie beispielsweise entspannt deinen Morgen-Kaffee zutrinken ohne Ablenkung. Nur du und der Kaffee • Plane anschließend deinen Tag (Journal, Todo-Liste), somit beschäftigst du dich mit dir selbst und dem, was du erledigen möchtest • Tue eventuell deiner Haut was Gutes und benutze regelmäßig Cremes oder Masken. Somit hast du auch wieder ein paar kleine Minütchen nur für dich selbst und dein Wohlfühlerlebnis. • Erlaube weder dir noch anderen, dich in der Früh zu stressen. Our children look to us for ways to handle the “world”, this includes how to regulate their emotions and the storms they may feel within. We parents can ask ourselves if we have the space within to hold our child in our calm, repeatedly, or do we tend to join their chaos? And it is often hard not to be triggered, because we are so attached to our children and their emotions. So the first question is, how do I, as the parent, regulate myself? In the majority of my work with leaders we notice that our bodies are in a state of what we call ‘survival’. High adrenal reactivity, a cloudedness in our responses, and no margin to THINK. Some simple breathe work and a rediscovering of some more contemplative spiritual practices can help this. So can creating 15 minutes margin between meetings.
