Śnieżnik Piękna pogoda, widoki i satysfakcja z zdobytego szczytu. To najlepsza recepta na udany i aktywny weekend! Zapisz to miejsce i wybierz się na Śnieżnik, który jest najwyższym szczytem Masywu Śnieżnika - łańcucha Sudetów. Góra liczy 1425 m n.p.m. a na jej szczycie znajduje się wieża widokowa, która w czasie naszego pobytu była w trakcie przebudowy. Szczyt ten zalicza się do Korony Gór Polski. My wybraliśmy się na wycieczkę pod koniec marca kiedy jeszcze w górach zalegało całkiem sporo śniegu, dla własnego bezpieczeństwa warto zabrać raczki, których my akurat wtedy nie mieliśmy. Wędrowaliśmy żółtym szlakiem. Początkowo trasa wiedzie przez dolinę i las, dwukrotnie przecinaliśmy potok (raz źle poszliśmy). Trasa miejscami jest dość stroma, do pokonania są około 3km podejścia. Schronisko PTTK na Śnieżniku im. Zbigniewa Fastnachta to ostatni przystanek, od którego dojście na szczyt zajmie nam około 20 minut. ~~~ Śnieżnik Beautiful weather, views, and satisfaction from conquering the summit. That's the best recipe for a successful and active weekend! Bookmark this place and head to Śnieżnik, which is the highest peak of the Śnieżnik Massif – part of the Sudetes mountain range. The mountain stands at 1425 meters above sea level, and at its peak, there's an observation tower, which was under renovation during our visit. This summit is part of the Crown of Polish Mountains. We went on a trip at the end of March when there was still quite a bit of snow in the mountains. For safety, it's advisable to bring crampons, which we didn't have at the time. We hiked along the yellow trail. Initially, the trail leads through a valley and forest, crossing the stream twice (we took a wrong turn once). The path is quite steep in places, with about 3km of ascent to cover. Is #WaterfallWednesday a thing? It should be. Especially with all the rain we are getting in California. Our falls are insanely full. This here is the tallest waterfall in Southern California standing at 150 feet. And it’s the fullest it has ever been thanks to this winter. This trail had been on my bucket list for years and I’m so glad we got to experience it at its best time. And so happy we got this shot. Elizabeth was on camera duty and I had to jump around trying to get all 3 dogs to look at the same time. Made quite a show for everyone else at the falls. We got some pretty funny comments about getting their attention and how well behaved they were. Worth it.

This year has been a mad year for me. In many ways, it has been unkind. Despite getting what I wanted and ticking off things on my list, I felt a sudden burst of emptiness and sadness. I lost touch with who I am. I lost my vibrance and zest for life. . I was doing it all - the creative pursuits, the hobbies, the relationship, the hustle. Turns out, this “doing it all” mentality drains you. It drained me. In August, right after I returned home from my Europe trip, I sought professional help. Ten sessions later and months of doing the messy inner work, I learned to ask for help, to be kinder to myself, to let go of the need to control and let things flow, to cut off people who are not supportive of my growth and love them from afar instead, to build healthy habits and stick through them even in the challenging times, and to nurture and give time to secured and loving relationships. . I’ve learned that it’s not about the end goal and the fleeting satisfaction that comes with it that matters most, it’s the stories you’ve made along the way and the people you have on the journey. . 2022 has been both a rough and colorful ride. I came to all these experiences confused and scared, and moved through, and am constantly moving through life, feeling I could conquer the world. . Let’s start the new year with a clean slate - hopefully, a better version of the previous one! This new year, I hope self-belief outweighs doubt. I hope rest and play outweigh the constant hustle. I hope curiosity outweighs the fear. . Here’s to a new year full of abundance and possibilities. Onwards. ✨
