Absolutely blown away by the incredible work Sophia accomplished in a very short time. First ice show this weekend! Not long ago you just made a first step on ice, and you felt but little did I know how persistent you can be. You felt so many time but you got right up every time and kept trying and going and pushing your limits. I am so proud to be your mom. This weekend was absolutely incredible, I probably stressed way more than you did but I couldn’t be prouder. Be aware: Choir Mommy Chaperone invading the Windy City. Watching my kid follow in my footsteps and surpass me in skill at such a young age fills my heart with pride. After so much effort, and natural talent of course, my daughter is performing in a Choir encounter of selected youth singers from all states of the country. It is incredible to watch her journey and see how much natural confidence she nurtures. My mom is also a singer - and she is so inspiring on the opposite way because she started singing on her fifties. I can observe both sides of the spectrum and see myself right in the middle. Although singing in my life didn’t come as a main stream course, but a way of diversifying my skills as a performer, I still can fell that I had always carried it along. And my daughter may be the reason why. What can I say, life is a perfect symphony, isn’t it?
