Hey friends! I wanna take a moment to welcome new followers and introduce myself since I've revamped this page. My photography journey began nearly 30 years ago when my eldest son was born and I was an art school student. I took a film class and was hooked. I got my BFA in advertising & graphic design with a photography minor and taught high school art, photography & art history for 18 years while raising my two sons. The year 2020 was a pivotal year in which I made radical decisions to completely change my life to be aligned with my dreams. I got divorced, quit my teaching career and embarked on an entrepreneurial path. I tried and failed at many things, learned many lessons and still have businesses in the works that are temporarily on hold so in the meantime I'm going all in with my photography. So here I am. 🙋🏻♀️ I've been a music lover for as long as I can remember, and in my late teens began regularly attending live shows to see local alternative rock bands in the Houston area. I began photographing live shows around 2007 when getting involved with My City Rocks, an organization that promoted local culture and entertainment in the city with an emphasis on the music scene. Since then, I have brought my camera into any venue that will let me and shoot to my heart's content, fueling my passion for both music and photography. As a concert photographer, my goal is to capture the passion of the performing artist, infusing it with my own, resulting in dynamic compositions that emit that passion and love of music. As a conceptual portrait photographer, my goal is to tell the story of who you are and be the bridge that connects you with your audience by capturing your energy and vibe. When not shooting or attending shows, you'll find me hiking in a forest with my two weiner dogs, having coffee or green juice with my sons, cooking vegan food, painting in my art studio, practicing my bass, riding my Harley, learning something new or planning my next adventure. 😎 Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you at a show soon!
