Pora troszkę podsumować Marzec z dziwaczną objazdówką Finlandia - Estonia - Łotwa - Litwa - Serbia. Wyjazd rozpoczynałem w kraju który ceni społeczeństwo obywatelskie i postępowość, a kończyłem w kraju gdzie królują chłopski rozum i paróweczkowe teorie Korwinedesa z Myken. Wszystkie te kraje miały jeden wspólny mianownik - normalne życie odbywało się w cieniu Rosji, raka toczącego kontynent i rozsiewającego przerzuty wszędzie od rzeki Jägala po Savę. Niestety mój wiekowy Pentax ME zaczyna troszkę niedomagać, nie pomogło też, że części filmów które wypstrykałem nikt nie chce wywołać, film z Helsinek się podarł wewnątrz aparatu, a lwią część zdjęć z Parnu i Siguldy zjedli chyba pracownicy fotolabu. Riga, Latvia 🇱🇻 You have been inspiring, captivating, magical and cold! You've provided the kids with their first little experience of snow, and frozen noses as we explored your cobblestones in -17degrees Celsius temps! Again, points go to your delicious mulled wine and hot chocolates, pastries and ski-tracks in the local park! there was also motorised bikes on the frozen lake! The kids were mesmerised by everything; but special mention here to the frozen lakes and rivers that made us all laugh as the birds still nestled here! We stayed in a world heritage graded building and felt like princes and princesses! There were vending machines for fresh hot pizza and we explored, with much reverence from the kids, the largest church in the Baltics. Noah's particular highlight was the public holiday the country were given last year after their ice hockey team came 3rd in the world champs (our tour guide suggested it was because they'd beaten team USA which for their small country of 2million was much celebrated rather than the bronze)!
