CANGGU DAY 2 This day we made our way to our new accommodation and then used the hostel bathrooms (which were thankfully decent with massive mirrors) to glam ourselves up to visit the best beach club in the world🎉🪩👙⛱️ Even before coming to Bali heard so so much about this place and when I came two years prior did not end up coming here as just was super pricey! But I’m so glad we decided to spend well over our daily budget to spend the day and evening here🥰We booked bed loungers for the three of us and had 1 million to spend each, they provided towels and service was really lovely! I wasn’t feeling the best to start with so got on the water and then decided that I might not get better and started drinking anyway to take my mind off of it! 🇫🇷 The second castle on my trip is the water castle of Chenonceau. Unfortunately, the water level of the Cher river was very low. The various rooms of the castle are very magnificently furnished. The castle has a large garden and park area of around 80 hectares, which is certainly much nicer to lingering in spring and summer. Tag 26 Cañaveral - Galisteo, ~27 km Hello again! Keine Ahnung, ob die Spritze von gestern noch nachwirkt, oder ob es heute einfach mal wieder sehr gut lief. Ist auch völlig egal, ich hatte einen richtig schönen Wandertag, super Laune, ausreichend Schlaf und einen tollen Trail. Ach ja, und es hat geregnet. War mir aber ziemlich egal, denn nach der ganzen Hitze die letzten Wochen tat das richtig gut. Die Temperaturen sind hier auch ziemlich runter gegangen. Los ging es pünktlich um 7 Uhr aus dem Hostal und dann relativ zeitnah zum ersten Anstieg, so mal zum Aufwärmen. Die morgendliche Aussicht hielt sich in Grenzen, heute gibt es auch keine Bilder mit Sonnenaufgang. Es gibt heute generell nicht viele Bilder, wie Regen aussieht weiß jeder und immer das Telefon rausholen und dann wieder trocknen war mir dann doch zu blöd. Man merkt schon, dass es in eine andere Region geht, die Vegetation verändert sich und die Wege auch. Heute ging es also wieder über Schotterpisten, rauf und runter, durch Pinienwald 🤩🌳 mit angenehm zu laufenden Boden und herrlichem Duft. Dann wieder ein Wäldchen mit Korkeichen und entlang von Viehweiden und einigen steinigen Pisten. Heute habe ich auch ein paar dieser hübschen Modelle fotografiert 🐮🐄🐑. Weiter dann am römischen Stausee von Riobolos vorbei und über einen Bachlauf. Galisteo sieht man schon von weitem. Dieser Ort ist komplett von einer Stadtmauer umgeben und später will ich mir den auch noch anschauen. Die Herberge liegt leider außerhalb der Mauer. Bellagio is oft called the pearl of Lake Como, konwn for beautiful villas, charming alleys and colorful buildings. Views from Bellagio are incredible- towering mountains on one side and the glistening lake on the other. We chose to stay in Bellagio, given its central location. With how busy Bellagio gets during the day, it was so nice enjoying town early morning & in the evening. My favourite thing to do in Bellagio was wandering all the winding streets and cobbled alleys. The waterfront promenade is a can’t miss, as are the stunningly serene gardens at Villa Melzi, created in the early 19th century. Sunset apertivo with lake views, fresh pasta at a family restaurant, and relaxing under spring sun and a wisteria-covered terrace made time in Bellagio all the sweeter.

A few days in Sucre was just what I needed to reset and get back into the 'solo traveller' vibe, after a month of crazy adventures with the best people, and a week of food poisoning, and some sad goodbyes.
