🦊 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🦊 Back in 2019 two campaigns by West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs successfully concluded by shutting down two hunts, the North Warwickshire Beagles and the Atherstone Hunt. Since then the land formerly hunted by the Atherstone Hunt was briefly hunted by the Quorn Hunt and some of their former members held on to the dream of one day resurrecting the hunt. However their old kennels have now been sold for housing and as of 25th April 2022 the company was put into voluntary liquidation with the company to be wound up. Their land has been divided up with the Quorn Hunt incorporating the main part of the Atherstone’s hunting area into their Tuesday territory. All of this means that there is no way back for the 200 year old hunt. They have now been in the press two weeks in a row and people are seeing through their lies. Today they had less than 20 riders. We caught up to the them around the Ascot area. We could hear the hounds hunting a fox as we arrived so foot sabs headed inland towards the hunt. Once sabs had sighted the hounds, convicted hunting criminal Will Goffe gathered the hounds and moved off and crossed the road towards Whichford. Here Goffe clearly hoped to lose sabs in this vast piece of land. However sabs managed to keep an eye on him from the other side of the valley. As soon as sabs got close to him he moved off. Warwickshire Hunt - Honington Hall - Saturday 18th December 2021 Our foot sabs covered a lot of miles yesterday as they managed to keep up with convicted hunting criminal Will Goffe as he hunted Hill Clumps and Idilicote Hill and then Brailes Hill and Cherington Hill. As you would expect with a huntsman who has been convicted for illegal hunting Goffe took the hounds to places he knew and expected to to find foxes such as the small woods not far from Honington Hall, the small woods behind Famington Farm below Brailes Hill and the woods on Cherington Hill. Verney comes from a long family line of fox hunters some of whom have not only been prominent leaders in the Warwickshire Hunt but have even written several books about fox hunting (such as 1906 "Advice on Fox-Hunting" written by Verney’s Great Grandfather and the 1921 “Hunting the Fox” written by his Grandfather). Verney is a former member of the Conservative Party who defected to UKIP (pictured left next to Nigel Farage and Lord Pearson who also defected to UKIP from the conservatives.) His wife Izzy Seccombe who is leader of Warwickshire County Council is also friends on social media with members and leaders of the Warwickshire Hunt. The Warwickshire Hunt is very well connected. Season roundup so far With the “trail hunting’ smokescreen about to restart here’s a recap of our season so far. Since the hunting season got underway back in September we have sabbed 26 different hunt meets and 6 different hunts. We had a constant presence in the Warwickshire badger cull zone for two months with sabs working day and night to prevent badgers from being killed. We’ve survived a targeted and sustained campaign against our group by the state and the police who failed in their attempt to shut our group down. We’ve seen members of our group targeted at their home addresses in a shocking and violent petrol attack. As a result of this attack most of our focus for those two months was on the Warwickshire Hunt who as well as their own violent actions can also blame the beef and dairy farmers who allowed the badger cull to happen in their hunting area making it easier for sabs already in the area to respond to tip offs. We have saved numerous foxes and badgers during this period but have also seen foxes and badgers being killed. The leaked webinars have shown just how seriously hunts take the threat of saboteurs turning up. With one day to go until #lockdown the #WarwickshireHunt met at an earlier than usual time of 10:00am in order to pack in as much hunting as possible before lockdown. These are very difficult times for us all, we are facing a #2ndlockdown, it’s uncertain how long it will last, the future is uncertain in terms of work and jobs, we can’t see our family or loved ones, cases of coronavirus are rising rapidly and we are potentially facing a worse situation than the first wave back in March. We are all being asked not to mix with other households and to stay at home. So is it fair, responsible or sensible for the Warwickshire Hunt to have a large gathering of over 100 riders in the small rural village of Todenham a day before the second national lockdown. This small self-entitled privileged minority are completely arrogant and selfish in their behaviour and their overriding lust for blood means that absolutely nothing else matters or will get in their way. To us and the wider general public this isn’t just an unfortunate disposable play toy, its a living being who has every right to exist from fear, pain and torture. This fox has its mouth open, mouth breathing is one sign of severe stress. Both foxes were hunted in a wood for a considerable time. Riders were saddle slapping, tongue rolling and shouting and everytime the foxes tried to escape they frightened them back into the wood. Two sabs were in attendance today and just being there at the right time/place helped these two foxes escape. Everyone can make a difference. Currently our wildlife is under attack. Saturday 26th September - #WarwickshireHunt - Upton Estate #Covid spreaders Whilst the rest of the country are making difficult sacrifices due to the pandemic to help our NHS the Warwickshire Hunt are making a complete mockery of everyone as they met with well over 30 people. There was no sign of them following any Covid guidelines, no facemasks, no hand sanitisers and no social distancing. Car and foot supporters (spectators - banned for most sports) were seen mingling with each other. Remember these are the same people who helped spread the disease the first time round as they all swanned off to the Cheltenham festival days before lockdown. With cases of covid spreading rapidly across the country the Warwickshire Hunt with their usual arrogance want to cram in as much hunting as possible before another lockdown happens, obviously not caring who they may spread covid to in the process. They met at 7:00am at the Sunrising Grainstore and crossed over the road and made their way to hunt the woods at the back of Upton House and spent most of the morning hunting the Upton Estate https://www.facebook.com/UptonEstate A fox was seen fleeing one of the woods almost as soon as the hunt arrived there. It ran across the valley and made its way to safety in the badger setts on the other side. After failing to find anything in the next few woods another fox was then seen fleeing the hounds and made it’s escape down another badger sett. With sabs positioned next to the sett this fox was also abandoned and the huntsman took the hounds across the road to hunt Spring Hill and the woods above Lower Tysoe. After spending a while drawing a blank, convicted hunting criminal Will Goffe took the hounds back over the road to hunt some long grass next to the Sugarswell business park. #WarwickshireHunt - #Covid spreaders / bTB spreaders On Thursday the Warwickshire Hunt met at East Fields Farm, Ufton. The whole morning can best be described as one big bio-security breach. They spent the morning hunting on and through fields containing cattle. With a badger cull currently ongoing in Warwickshire and the cull zone itself not far from where they met it’s highly likely that the Warwickshire Hunt have been spreading BTb across Warwickshire. Especially as they have been hunting in the badger cull zone for a number of weeks now. The other disease they have likely been spreading is Covid. We saw no attempts at social distancing, no one wearing facemasks and no hand sanitisers. Whilst the rest of the country are making sacrifices so as not to overload our NHS the Warwickshire Hunt have disregarded all social distancing and Covid guidelines meeting in groups greater than six just so they can hunt and kill our wildlife. We saw three foxes escape safely as convicted hunting criminal Will Goffe purposely took the hounds to places he had previously found foxes and to no one's surprise he found some again in the same places. Tuesday 22nd September - #WarwickshireHunt - #Kenilworth On Tuesday the Warwickshire Hunt met at Little Chase Farm, Kenilworth, Warwickshire. Another early morning cub hunting meet this time not far from popular local tourist attraction Kenilworth Castle. With a few more riders than the previous day, although still well short of what they normally get and still no car support apart from a few landowners it's no wonder the Warwickshire Hunt didn’t look happy to see us. We saw no social distancing, no face masks or hand sanitisers. Just remember when you're not allowed to meet up with your family and are worrying about job security there are people like this meeting up just so they can kill wildlife. We arrived just as they were setting off, the huntsman attempted to halfheartedly hunt a small wood but soon moved off and kept moving until he thought he’d lost us. We kept with them and soon caught back up and found them hunting a wood behind Honiley Hall. We arrived at the meet at Home Farm and discovered the hunt had already left the meet. The whole area was covered in a very thick fog. Sabs went out on foot to track them down and came across a few riders just riding round. It wasn't long before members of the hunt boxed up and went home. It seems the fog was too thick to hunt in. Early morning Leverett hunting stopped Dummer Beagles - Saturday 19th September - Oldborough Farm, Todenham, Gloustershire On Saturday we headed over to Oldborough Farm near Morton-in-Marsh for what seemed to be an illegal gathering of local and not so local blood junkies who wanted to kill some Leveretts (baby hares). The gathering of well over six people consisted of the Dummer Beagles who were joined by a collection of members from the Christ Church and Farley Hill Beagles who seemed to have travelled over from Oxford and members of the Warwickshire Beagles. With well over six people, none of them wearing facemasks, no hand sanitisers in sight and a distinct lack of social distancing these covid spreaders soon invaded our personal space with their germs and refused to hand over their details for track and trace. On our arrival we overheard a frantic phone call to Polly Portwin of the Countryside Alliance for some advice who seemed to advise them to pack up and go home. The advice was taken and the beagles were bundled into the back of a van which made its way across several fields to get to a farm in Todenham and from there it made it’s escape. We hung around the meet and watched as the support slowly got into their vehicles and left the meet. We stayed in the area for a while to ensure that none of them came back. On Tuesday (0/02/20) we headed over to Litchborough, Northamptonshire to join our friends at Grafton Hunt Watch at the #GraftonHunt. We saw three foxes run to safety away from the hunt throughout the day. Huntsman Mick Wills spent most of the day moving away from us when ever we got near to him. 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 Today 50 sabs from around the country descended on Shackerstone where a Beagle Festival was being held at Shackerstone Fields Farm, Leicestershire. The Brighton and Storrington Beagles had travelled up to Leicestershire to hunt hares at the festival which had been organised by the #OakleyFootBeagles who have taken over the North Warwickshire Beagles hunting area after we shut them down earlier this year. The location had been chosen for the meet as it’s not hunted much anymore since the collapse of the North Warwickshire Beagles. The huntsman quickly headed back to the meet once he realised sabs had arrived and after waiting around for the police to arrive left the meet in the hound van. We followed him on a tour of South West Leicestershire before Leicestershire Police stopped our vehicle to allow the beagles to make their escape. This is the Whipper-In for the #WarwickshireHunt standing on the lifeless body of the fox that the #hounds had just killed. You can see the foxes head next to his boot. He picked the body up and took it away. Within minutes the Warwickshire Hunt had already moved on to the next fox. The stewards for the Warwickshire Hunt (who wear pink high-viz) physically prevented sabs from entering the field to save the fox. One hunt steward violently attacked a sab and took him to the ground. Yesterday the #WarwickshireHunt were ruthless and relentless in their hunting and killing. In total there must have been 6-7 foxes hunted throughout the day. Unfortunately one fox was killed near #Oxhill. The hunt assaulted sabs who tried to get into the field to save it

#WarwickshireHunt and hounds have trespassed all over a mainline railway near Banbury causing disruptions and delays. Transport police have confirmed that a hound was hit and killed by a train. Sabs were not present with the hunt when the incident occurred but were the other side of the hill in at Watergall. We are in contact with several eye witnesses who saw what happened. North Warwickshire Beagles - Shut Down - UPDATE The only pests that need controling are those that hunt and kill wildlife We are able to confirm reports that the North Warwickshire Beagles have shut down. West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs had been increasingly focusing on the North Warwickshire Beagles over the past two years. This combined with a lack of support and the imminent demise of the Atherstone Hunt resulted in the collapse of the North Warwickshire Beagles. The Beagles had shared kennels with the Atherstone Hunt but with the Atherstone Hunt shutting down due to our six year campaign the North Warwickshire Beagles were left with no kennels, little support and facing another season of being sabbed by West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs. The few remaining people left at the North Warwickshire Beagles have joined up with the Oakley Foot Beagles who will now also hunt the area that the North Warwickshire Beagles used to hunt. This is another big victory for West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs, it means there is one less hunt and the area that the North Warwickshire Beagles used to hunt although still hunted by the Oakley Foot Beagles will be hunted a lot less than it used to be. VICTORY! ATHERSTONE HUNT FINISHED! After six long years of an unrelenting and unstoppable campaign by West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs the 200 year old Atherstone Hunt have finally thrown in the towel and folded. We have faced harassment, extreme provocation and regular violence from those associated with the Atherstone Hunt. We’ve received death threats, had our tyres slashed, cars burnt out and have been hospitalized. We have also faced a hostile campaign of police harassment from Leicestershire Police who have actively sabotaged investigations against the Atherstone Hunt whilst constantly seeking to prosecute members of our group at all costs. We persevered and never backed down. Despite the regular violence we have faced our campaign has always remained non-violent. Over the last six years we have sabbed almost every single meet of the Atherstone Hunt. They have collected over 20 criminal convictions and cautions for their violence and antisocial behaviour and at their worst they were making the national press every other month for their hunting and violence. As well as stopping them killing foxes twice a week every week we have been able to expose the real face of fox hunting. We witnessed them kill numerous foxes in front of us but that only made us more determined. We exposed all businesses that supported them. We held demonstrations at their biggest events of the year and at all of their fundraising events. For six years the Atherstone Hunt have been completely sabotaged and as a result they have now folded. This means that for now the 908 km² area of West Leicestershire and North Warwickshire are completely hunt free and hundreds of foxes lives will now have been saved Ultimately the Hunting Act needs to be strengthened however we are not waiting around for politicians to change the law or corrupt police forces to enforce the law. Fox hunting is cruel and barbaric and has no place in the 21st century. Hunt saboteurs will shut hunts down one by one until hunting is consigned to history.

We had to stop the #AtherstoneHunt hounds from chasing and killing this hare on Tuesday. New Atherstone huntsman Dick Chapman had no control over the hounds which meant we had to step in and control them for him. Little Owl Farm Park - Run by Terriermen Little Owl Farm Park a petting zoo based in Worcestershire is run by terriermen from the Worcestershire Hunt. On this farm it seems that they also have several foxes and ducks. We find it extremely worrying that terrier-men from this hunt seem to have a ready supply of foxes. Not only are they involved in fox hunting but it seems they also go shooting, including ducks. There is also a photo of what appears to be two of them digging out a badger sett. The farm is very much aimed at children. Aside from the fact that they have a lot of animals kept in captivity it is concerning that this farm is run by people who are actively involved in animal cruelty.
