They have now been in the press two weeks in a row and people are seeing through their lies. Today they had less than 20 riders. We caught up to the them around the Ascot area. We could hear the hounds hunting a fox as we arrived so foot sabs headed inland towards the hunt. Once sabs had sighted the hounds, convicted hunting criminal Will Goffe gathered the hounds and moved off and crossed the road towards Whichford. Here Goffe clearly hoped to lose sabs in this vast piece of land. However sabs managed to keep an eye on him from the other side of the valley. As soon as sabs got close to him he moved off. Warwickshire Hunt - Honington Hall - Saturday 18th December 2021 Our foot sabs covered a lot of miles yesterday as they managed to keep up with convicted hunting criminal Will Goffe as he hunted Hill Clumps and Idilicote Hill and then Brailes Hill and Cherington Hill. As you would expect with a huntsman who has been convicted for illegal hunting Goffe took the hounds to places he knew and expected to to find foxes such as the small woods not far from Honington Hall, the small woods behind Famington Farm below Brailes Hill and the woods on Cherington Hill. Quorn Hunt - Osgathorpe - Tuesday 8th December “𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞... 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠” Today’s sabbing is dedicated to our friend Leanne whose birthday it would have been today. With half the day gone and having been unable to shake off sabs Finnegan told the terriermen he would be heading up to the square wood on David’s Hill and the terriermen raced on ahead. When Finnegan and the hounds arrived it wasn’t long before the hounds picked up the scent of a fox and headed off at speed towards Belton. Sabs got back into their vehicle and made their way round to Belton and arrived just in time to find the hounds marking a fox to ground in some thick brambles. Finnegan was off his horse watching the hounds make their way through the brambles as they searched for the fox. Also present and off their quad bike was the “soft underbelly of hunting” the terriermen who claimed the smokescreen / "trail" had ended there. Finnegan and the teriermen invaded a sabs personal space (in the middle of a pandemic) and assaulted her as they tried to prevent her from seeing what they were doing. We hope the sab doesn’t catch anything as none of them were particularly clean looking. However the “trail” was then flushed out and bolted back towards the main Rempstone road which it crossed with hounds close behind. They continued to chase the smokescreen all the way up to Shepshed. The #quornhunt met in the former Atherstone Hunt area of Snarestone in Leicestershire. For around 3 hours they hunted the same area twice. For the few hours that they were out the day was chaotic and shambolic. Quorn joint master Joss Hanbury’s horn blowing sounded like a rusty car horn, the hounds were all over the place and did not respond to the horn blowing. Quorn Huntsman Ollie Finnegan was left to ensure loose hounds were rounded up and he positioned himself throughout the day to spot any hunted foxes. Sabs had to save three foxs (including the one pictured) Considering Leicestershire is a Tier 3 area, there were over 30 riders and no social distancing was observed. There were also plenty of car supporters out (spectators). The riders huddled together in large groups and held up passing motorists in the road. This fox had a very lucky escape from the Warwickshire Hunt at their opening meet yesterday (31.10.20). It was relentlessly hunted on the hills above Middle and Upper Tysoe with the hounds chasing it from one set of thick brambles to the next. “We don’t care about you, we don’t care about you you know” - Convicted hunt criminal Will Goffe trying to convince sabs that after several seasons of throwing absolutely everything at us and swamping us with stewards and loud music that suddenly we don’t get under their skin or bother them. Today the #WarwickshireHunt hunting between Lower Catesby, Staverton and Shuckburgh with some very blatant cub hunting. Towards the end of the day the remaining few riders positioned themselves around a wood and began some classic cub hunting. Shouts, brring and aye aye aye were all heard and the sab then heard voice commands which they knew meant a fox had been sighted. One rider started to shout the whips name over and over which alerted the sab already knowing that a fox had been sighted to be extra vigilant. Sure enough a beautiful large fox dashed out and was seen running across land . The sab rated hounds and then it wasn’t long before the huntsman collected the hounds and packed up. Fernie Hunt hit by multiple Sab groups on their opening meet. 24.10.20 A very small team of our Sabs made it up to Gumley, Leicestershire yesterday for the Fernie Hunt’s opening meet. We joined @peterboroughhuntsabs @lincolnhuntsaboteurs @manchesterhuntsabs @bath_hunt_sabs #bedsandbuckshuntsabs #stockportmonitors and @westmidshuntsabs in solidarity with #westmidshuntsabs after the treatment they received from Leicestershire Police. The Fernie have ex-police officers amongst their support & have a rent a thug, “security team”. The Hunt was swamped with Sabs, the security team only able to concentrate on one Sab group at a time. They were easily outnumbered and resorted to calling in more goons from neighbouring Cottesmore Hunt. Three Foxes were seen to safety, one stray hound given some affection and the hunt having to hunt up and down the same small patch all day. The Hunt eventually packed up at 4.30pm, a successful day for Sabs and for the wildlife. 🦊

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝘅 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭 “Great results, can be achieved with small forces.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War A guide based on our experiences with the Atherstone Hunt and North Warwickshire Beagles Choose your hunt Smaller hunts are generally more vulnerable than larger hunts as they will have less resources to be able to fight back or withstand a prolonged campaign against them. It is easier to sab more hunt meets for a hunt that hunts twice a week than a hunt that is out hunting four times a week. The Atherstone Hunt only hunted twice a week which meant we were able to sab them every time they went out. Kick em when they’re down - Take advantage of hunts that are known to be struggling financially or have internal problems. They are already halfway there, just give them that extra push. The Atherstone Hunt had major internal problems after firing their huntsman and booting him and his wife out of their house days before she was due to give birth. Major infighting amongst themselves left them wide open for a full scale campaign by sabs. Choose a hunt that is local. It's easier to respond to last minute tip offs if you don’t have far to travel to get to the hunt. With the Atherstone Hunt being local to the West Midlands it meant we were able to respond to tip offs and get sabs to the hunt meet in a short time. Hare hunts are more vulnerable to targeted campaigns than fox hunts. They have far less resources available to them, they can’t run away at speed like fox hunts can and many of them pack up as soon as sabs turn up. For this reason hare hunts are far more secretive than fox hunts. When we targeted the North Warwickshire Beagles they packed up straight away, good intel on them meant we were able to turn up to a significant number of meets to have a big impact on them over two seasons. The North Warwickshire Beagles collapsed and no longer exist, their hunting area has been taken over by the Oakley Foot Beagles.

This year the Cheltenham Festival has been blamed for spreading Covid-19 as it was allowed to go ahead despite other sports events cancelling. Perhaps it was seen by those who went as one last chance for a bit of animal abuse before full lockdown happened. 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟵/𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 This season we have sabbed the Warwickshire Hunt 43 times Worcestershire Hunt 12 times Croome and West Warwickshire Hunt 4 times Quorn Hunt 3 times Warwickshire Beagles 3 times Grafton Hunt 3 times Atherstone Hunt 2 times We regularly travelled over to one of the new badger cull zones to help protect badgers from the badger killers Along with groups from across the country we also sabbed the three day beagle festival organised by the Oakley Foot Beagles which shut the festival down after only 1 day We have shut down the North Warwickshire Beagles after focusing on them in previous seasons meant they shut down before this season had even started. The Oakley Foot Beagles have now taken over their hunting area We shut down the Atherstone Hunt after a six year campaign. They have now been taken over by the Quorn Hunt. They are now based at the Quorn kennels, use Quorn hunt staff and Quorn hounds to hunt the old Atherstone territory on occasional Saturdays. Our campaigning got the Warwickshire Hunt into the press every week for 2 months solid and for 3 months in a row. We also got the Warwickshire Hunt’s National Trust License revoked. At the end of the season there are several ongoing police investigations into the Warwickshire Hunt including for them trespassing on a mainline railway where one of their hounds was hit by a train. This season also saw the 15th Anniversary of the Hunting Act. After 15 years the police clearly have no interest in enforcing the law which means hunt saboteurs are the only line of defence for our hunted wildlife. Now that the hunting season is over we’ll be repairing our vehicles and getting new equipment ready for next season. From there the hounds crossed the road and chased the fox into the next village of Weedon Lois. Here they again rampaged through gardens and upset locals as they pursued the fox. With the hunt supporters finally getting a bit of excitement with the local wildlife being relentlessly chased they blocked the road and drove slowly to prevent sabs going after the hounds. On Thursday (20.02.20) we were joined by Grafton Hunt Watch at the #WarwickshireHunt who were hunting just outside of #Banbury Between us we had the hunt in sight all morning and prevented one fox from being hunted after it hid under a collapsed corrugated roof of an old barn. We kept a close eye on the #croomeandwestwarwickshire hunt on Saturday where they met at #ragleyhall The huntsman took the riders on a tour of the Ragley Estate visiting each of the big woods on the estate but drawing a blank at all of them. Towards the end of the day he crossed the 4088 to hunt Weethley Wood. Thinking he’d lost sabs the huntsman took the opportunity to try a bit of hunting on foot and the hounds picked up on a scent and went into cry. 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 Today 50 sabs from around the country descended on Shackerstone where a Beagle Festival was being held at Shackerstone Fields Farm, Leicestershire. The Brighton and Storrington Beagles had travelled up to Leicestershire to hunt hares at the festival which had been organised by the #OakleyFootBeagles who have taken over the North Warwickshire Beagles hunting area after we shut them down earlier this year. The location had been chosen for the meet as it’s not hunted much anymore since the collapse of the North Warwickshire Beagles. The huntsman quickly headed back to the meet once he realised sabs had arrived and after waiting around for the police to arrive left the meet in the hound van. We followed him on a tour of South West Leicestershire before Leicestershire Police stopped our vehicle to allow the beagles to make their escape. This is the Whipper-In for the #WarwickshireHunt standing on the lifeless body of the fox that the #hounds had just killed. You can see the foxes head next to his boot. He picked the body up and took it away. Within minutes the Warwickshire Hunt had already moved on to the next fox. The stewards for the Warwickshire Hunt (who wear pink high-viz) physically prevented sabs from entering the field to save the fox. One hunt steward violently attacked a sab and took him to the ground. Yesterday the #WarwickshireHunt were ruthless and relentless in their hunting and killing. In total there must have been 6-7 foxes hunted throughout the day. Unfortunately one fox was killed near #Oxhill. The hunt assaulted sabs who tried to get into the field to save it

North Warwickshire Beagles - Shut Down - UPDATE The only pests that need controling are those that hunt and kill wildlife We are able to confirm reports that the North Warwickshire Beagles have shut down. West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs had been increasingly focusing on the North Warwickshire Beagles over the past two years. This combined with a lack of support and the imminent demise of the Atherstone Hunt resulted in the collapse of the North Warwickshire Beagles. The Beagles had shared kennels with the Atherstone Hunt but with the Atherstone Hunt shutting down due to our six year campaign the North Warwickshire Beagles were left with no kennels, little support and facing another season of being sabbed by West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs. The few remaining people left at the North Warwickshire Beagles have joined up with the Oakley Foot Beagles who will now also hunt the area that the North Warwickshire Beagles used to hunt. This is another big victory for West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs, it means there is one less hunt and the area that the North Warwickshire Beagles used to hunt although still hunted by the Oakley Foot Beagles will be hunted a lot less than it used to be. VICTORY! ATHERSTONE HUNT FINISHED! After six long years of an unrelenting and unstoppable campaign by West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs the 200 year old Atherstone Hunt have finally thrown in the towel and folded. We have faced harassment, extreme provocation and regular violence from those associated with the Atherstone Hunt. We’ve received death threats, had our tyres slashed, cars burnt out and have been hospitalized. We have also faced a hostile campaign of police harassment from Leicestershire Police who have actively sabotaged investigations against the Atherstone Hunt whilst constantly seeking to prosecute members of our group at all costs. We persevered and never backed down. Despite the regular violence we have faced our campaign has always remained non-violent. Over the last six years we have sabbed almost every single meet of the Atherstone Hunt. They have collected over 20 criminal convictions and cautions for their violence and antisocial behaviour and at their worst they were making the national press every other month for their hunting and violence. As well as stopping them killing foxes twice a week every week we have been able to expose the real face of fox hunting. We witnessed them kill numerous foxes in front of us but that only made us more determined. We exposed all businesses that supported them. We held demonstrations at their biggest events of the year and at all of their fundraising events. For six years the Atherstone Hunt have been completely sabotaged and as a result they have now folded. This means that for now the 908 km² area of West Leicestershire and North Warwickshire are completely hunt free and hundreds of foxes lives will now have been saved Ultimately the Hunting Act needs to be strengthened however we are not waiting around for politicians to change the law or corrupt police forces to enforce the law. Fox hunting is cruel and barbaric and has no place in the 21st century. Hunt saboteurs will shut hunts down one by one until hunting is consigned to history.

We had to stop the #AtherstoneHunt hounds from chasing and killing this hare on Tuesday. New Atherstone huntsman Dick Chapman had no control over the hounds which meant we had to step in and control them for him. This also proves that a pack of hounds should not be let loose in the countryside as no wildlife is safe from being chased and killed. Little Owl Farm Park - Run by Terriermen Little Owl Farm Park a petting zoo based in Worcestershire is run by terriermen from the Worcestershire Hunt. On this farm it seems that they also have several foxes and ducks. We find it extremely worrying that terrier-men from this hunt seem to have a ready supply of foxes. Not only are they involved in fox hunting but it seems they also go shooting, including ducks. There is also a photo of what appears to be two of them digging out a badger sett. The farm is very much aimed at children. Aside from the fact that they have a lot of animals kept in captivity it is concerning that this farm is run by people who are actively involved in animal cruelty. The Claro Beagles and the Vectis Beagles also set to close Over the past two seasons we had been focusing our attention more and more on the #NorthWarwickshireBeagles The North Warwickshire Beagles share the same kennels and hunting area as the struggling Atherstone Hunt. This shows how much of an impact hunt saboteurs can have. There is one less hunt in the North Warwickshire / West Leicestershire area and with the Atherstone Hunt now a shadow of its former self, this is a victory for wildlife in that area.
