Here I am getting ready to spin us silly in a teacup on Mad Tea Party (*to all my fellow Disneyland fans -- the purple teacups are the ones that spin around the fastest*). I had just turned 15. Did you know that if you have a nut allergy you may be able to still have fun ice cream at Disneyland? We didn’t know for years and just never bothered to check 🙈 When visiting Clarabelle’s or Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor let them know about your allergies and a chef will use a fresh container and prepare it in a clean area. It does take a bit longer to get your order, but ice cream is yummy and worth it! I did have a moment of panic when purchasing the delicious birthday celebration sundae (minus the cake/ couldn’t verify the ingredients) and saw peanuts on the counter around the card reader. However, the chef was friendly, understanding, while also being super strict with my safety, “stand over there. Don’t touch anything and don’t take anything from anyone else. Only I will bring you your order.”💕 ❗️They do have loose peanuts at these locations. We have only been able to get cones at Clarabelle’s once, but never in DL. Mickey shaped food ALWAYS tastes better! ✨😋 Made some Fruity Pebbles Rice Krispie treats and they are so simple to make! Be sure to save this post so you can find it later when the mood strikes. Ingredients: 🧈5 Tablespoons Butter 🧈8 cups mini marshmallows 🧈2 cups mini marshmallows to set aside for later 🧈4 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal 🧈2 cups Rice Krispies cereal 🧈1/2 teaspoon salt Instructions: 🧈Spray 9x9 pan with non-stick spray, for thinner krispies use a larger pan. 🧈On the stovetop melt your butter, then add 8 cups of mini marshmallows and salt. Heat until the marshmallows are all melted and smooth. 🧈Add in the Fruity Pebbles, Rice Krispie cereal, and 2 cups of marshmallows and mix until it’s evenly coated. 🧈Transfer the mix to the greased pan and press it around to flatten. I grease my fingers and spatula so it doesn’t stick to them. 🧈 Refrigerate for 30 mins before cutting Krispies into your desired shape. I used a Mickey cookie cutter for mine! Our last day, half day, we started with coffee and people watching. It was relaxing and Pluto was out dancing! Then I realized we only had a handful of hours and decided to push myself and Kevin to the limit. We lucked out again with Rise of Resistance. It did break down, but it was really cool to have extra time with all those stormtroopers! We were a later group for WEB SLINGERS and knew we wouldn’t make it in time. Tinker Bell did try to help us, but the attraction went down ❤️😭❤️☺️ It was back up and running and our group was called 8 minutes after we left 😭 Next time Spidey! On the way out, Thor pointed right to me!!!! I know, right?! I assume it was from my screams and weird flailing like dance moves that escaped from my Thor loving self. Kevin and I had so many magical moments together. I’m so grateful for my husband and the beautiful life we’ve been blessed to build together. We had an outfit change on day 2 and headed back over to Disneyland! We ran into a magical cast member who I creepily stalk on Instagram … or maybe it’s not creepy. I’m just friendly, right? Right! Okay, moving on … He sparkled some extra pixie dust magic on our evening and just ✨✨✨ it was the best! I definitely had tears in my eyes and hugs were exchanged. Day two ❤️ We were lucky enough to get into the virtual queue for WEB SLINGERS. My advice is logging off of Disney wifi, watching that world clock, and start refreshing one minute before 7am or 12pm! We did the same thing at noon and got a back up group. We also met two other amazingly kind photopass photographers! Day one of our first ever, hopefully annual, anniversary trip was ✨amaze✨ We had a crazy early flight, made it inside the parks by 1pm, and started it off with the sweetest photo pass photographer! The Disney magic was very much alive! I was able to get my DAS set up. I was a bit embarrassed to ask for one, but seriously ask if you need. The cast members I spoke to were super understanding and not surprisingly, no one made a face or laughed at me.
