On our last visit to Disneyland, we went to the Blue Bayou! It was so yummy. I got the Monte Cristo, it’s so good with the fruit preserves. It also came with potato chips and a salad. The chips were yummy with the Cajun dipping sauce. We made reservations as soon as they opened up booking window, this seemed to be the key because our last couple trips, I hadn’t been able to get us a reservation. The ambiance is so calming and we loved watching the boats go by as they started their sailing on Pirates of the Caribbean. When I worked for Disney, I made candy apples! Two new-ish items over at Alien Pizza Planet in Tomorrowland, neither of which are pizza… 1️⃣ Chicken Sesame-Ginger Vegetable Noodles - very flavor, and generous in both portion size and the amount of fresh vegetables included. 2️⃣ Nebula-swirled Ricotta Pasta - it was nice to try another good pasta option, we enjoyed the slight heat from the chimichurri-spiced ricotta on top. The handmade chocolate Easter eggs 🍫🐰🐣 from Candy Palace in Disneyland are a hot commodity!!!! There are two flavors available … chocolate cream fudge and peanut butter fudge. Let me share with you how to get one this year. Easter eggs are ONLY available on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at Candy Palace in Disneyland. This year they are testing out mobile orders only for Easter Eggs, but the cast member said that could change at anytime. And they would go back to lining up as described below. So first thing you want to check in the Disneyland app. On a M, W or Sat log into the app at 6:59 am from anywhere. At 7:00 am try to mobile order from Candy Palace (swipe to see more). The eggs go quickly now that the word has spread. If you’re lucky enough to place a mobile order your pick up window starts at 3 pm and goes on from there. They only sell a limited amount each day from now through Easter. If the mobile order option doesn’t go as planned Disney could change it back to how it was last year at anytime. Guests lined up in front of Candy Palace around 1 pm! They started selling at 2 pm. When they’re gone they’re gone for the day! World of Color Dessert Party was definitely a vibe! 😋😊 We wanted to try out this event because who wouldn’t want desserts and sit to watch the show?! It was definitely worth it! They gave us a whole platter of desserts along with unlimited hot cocoa, sodas, and an alcohol drink. There was definitely a lot to choose from! Hubby’s favorite was the macaroon and my favorite was the chocolate cheesecake 🤤. Honestly the view from any table is the best seat! We got the high table top right in front of the Ferris wheel. It was perfect! If you’re coming in pairs, you will have to share a table with another pair. No one sat at our table and so we had a cute little mini date to ourselves 😊. Last month when I was at Disneyland I couldn’t wait to try this Filipino Feast Burrito from Studio Catering Co. The description on the Disneyland menu says “Pork belly adobo fried rice, pan it and lumpia in a warm flour tortilla with sweet chili dipping sauce” It was so yummy, and it was a pretty good size. Tried Chicken Guy in Disney Springs on my last visit (not sponsored) I love chicken, chicken nuggets, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches, and ALL THE SAUCES, so it’s crazy it took me so long to try it out Verdict- it’s an amazing low-budget quick service option with really good flavor (my meal was about $10 - didn’t get a fountain drink) With certain menu items you can choose 2 sauces, which, let me tell you it was SO TOUGH to decide. Sitting in the airport waiting to head back to our babies! ✈️ We had the BEST BEST trip!!! It was short, sweet and jam packed, but as expected, we didn’t stop laughing. Although Brett didn’t smile in a single photo, he is the most hilarious person on the earth and putting him and Nick together in Disneyland was the biggest riot 😂 . In 4 days (including travel days), we went to Santa Monica and area, Downtown Disney, California Adventure, Disneyland, Hollywood Blvd, Griffith Conservatory, saw the Hollywood sign and every other street in LA (the amazing and the BAD) trying to get to the airport in rush hour 🤣 . Bulgogi Toasted Cheese Sandwich and Corn Cheese Soup 🥪🌽🍲 This beef bulgogi on sourdough with grilled onions, mozzarella, and kimchi aioli was super tasty! The bulgogi was tender, onions added texture, not as much mozzarella as I would have liked, and the kimchi aioli wasn’t all that spicy.
