#LetsTalkAboutIt Entertainment. So often you see the final product- the clip from a TV show, behind the scenes photos, pictures on the red carpet, etc. But, that is such a small piece of the puzzle. One of my fellow Tar Heel actors @crystalconey_ shared the other day that she had to tape an audition, getting help from strangers. I could COMPLETELY relate. A few years ago, I had a speaking engagement in Wichita, Kansas but I also had an audition to record. I ended up asking the front desk associate at my hotel to assist me with it. Another time, I asked a drama teacher to help me with an audition when I was out of town and in exchange, I spoke to the students in her class. There is so much more to my success than the close up. #Repost @theangelaray ・・・ #AboutLastNight I had a fabulous time at the VIP Night ahead of the grand opening of The Juicy Crab's newest location in Hiram. It was my first time eating at the franchise and the food was amazing. Great portion sizes, flavorful appetizers and the main course was enough for me to have leftovers today. I had the popcorn shrimp and my entree included snowcrab and steamed shrimp along with corn and a nice size red potato. I opted for the mild juicy signature sauce with the medium on the side. The medium wasn't too spicy for me so I will opt for that next time. This line has always been impactful to me as an actor. Not only did Sidney Poitier deliver it with confidence and charisma in a role that was not common for Black actors at that time, it also felt like a statement of worth as a person.
