However when I think of my first 5k and how far away the top 3 seemed to me, I didn’t think I would ever be able to author a post like this, unless I was running in a very small field. Today’s race showed me how far I’ve come on this journey, consequently it also showed me how far I have to go. For right now this hairy “normal” dude just finished top 3 in an official race. Fabric: 92% MicroModal, 8% Elastane Comfort: 5/5. This is one of the most comfortable jocks I’ve ever tried. The fabric is soft and smooth, the pouch is well-proportioned, and the sides of the pouch do not dig in (a problem I often have with jocks and other V-shaped undies). The straps are made out of the same comfy modal fabric as the pouch. The waistband is soft and doesn’t dig in. Quality: 4/5. All the elements feel nice, though not quite luxurious. Style: 3.5/5. Nothing too special here. It looks nice enough, and comes in a good range of colors and prints. I do wish the straps were a bit shorter to make my ass pop a little more. Value: 5/5.
