Ever tried buffalo? Our first Laotian meal was in Pak Beng, a small town along the Mekong River where the Laos Slow Boat deposits tourists overnight on their long journey to Luang Prabang. Laos may not be known for its distinguished cuisine, but we were nevertheless so excited to finally try some local delicacies. #ラオス 🇱🇦 #ファイサーイ 3/26~3/27, #パクベン 3/27~3/28, #ルアンパバーン 3/28~4/1, #ヴァンビエン 4/1~4/5, #ビエンチャン 4/5~4/6 タイのチェンライからバスとトゥクトゥクを乗り継ぎラオスのファイサーイへ。 国境の小さな街で1泊。 ここでルアンパバーン行きのスローボートチケットを購入。 翌日ファイサーイからはスローボートでルアンパバーンを目指す。 元フランス植民地だけあって、乗客のほとんどがフランス人観光客だった。 途中パクベンの街で1泊して、2日掛けてルアンパバーンへ無事到着。 ルアンパバーンに来るのは5年振り2回目。 コロニアル調の建築と緑やメコン川といった自然が調和した雰囲気の良い街並み。 4泊したけど、今回は郊外の観光スポットへは行かずに、街中でブラブラしながらゆっくりとした時間を過ごした😃 ルアンパバーンからはミニバンでヴァンビエンへ。 街歩きがメインだったルアンパバーンと違い、ここの観光の目玉は自然の中でのアクティビティ。 ヴァンビエンにも4泊して、チュービングで癒やされたり、色々とアクティビティを楽しんだ。 次は焼畑の影響の少ない、空気が綺麗な時に来たい😇 ヴァンビエンからバスでビエンチャンへ。 世界一何も無い首都と呼ばれるだけあって、確かにコレと言った観光スポットは無かったかな… でも、個人的にはパラグアイのアスンシオンよりはましな気はした🙃 ラオスは自然も多くて、飯も旨い！ 仕事に疲れた社会人の癒やしの場所としてオススメ。 俺もまた今度疲れた時に来よう😇 1.ヴァンビエン ナム・サイビューポイント 頂上にバイクが置かれた有名なビュースポット。20分ぐらい山道を登るので歩きやすい靴の方が良い。周辺には他にも写真撮影用に色々な物が置かれたビュースポットがたくさんある。入場料20,000LAK(=約145円)。 2.ファイサーイの街並み 小さいけど、中心部には観光客向けに宿泊施設やレストランがあった。次の観光地に向かう前に旅人が一息つく街。 3.パクベンの街並み ファイサーイよりもさらに小さいメコン川沿いの街。スローボート客の宿泊の場所って感じかな。 4.ルアンパバーン プーシーの丘 街の中心部にある丘。メコン川と夕陽が見れるビュースポット。入場料20,000LAK(=約145円) 5.ルアンパバーンの街並み 恐らくラオスで1番の観光地。中国から鉄道が開通した影響で、５年前よりも中国人観光客が増えた。とは言えまだまだのんびりした雰囲気の街。 6.ルアンパバーン 「カオソーイ」 ラオス名物の麺料理。同名の料理はタイにもあるけど、カレー味のタイ版と違ってラオス版はクリアなスープに肉味噌がトッピングされている。個人的にはラオスのカオソーイの方が好き😙ラオス滞在中に何度も食べたけど、ルアンパバーンのナイトマーケットの屋台のカオソーイが1番旨かった！35,000LAK(=約250円) 7.ヴァンビエン チュービング 浮き輪に乗って川を下るアクティビティ。ただただボーっと川を流れるだけ。都会の喧騒に疲れた人の癒やしの一時としてオススメ。意外と長くて4時間ぐらい掛かった。100,000LAK(=約720円) 8.ヴァンビエン ブルーラグーン2 ヴァンビエン周辺にはブルーラグーンと呼ばれる青い(実際は緑)の湖がたくさんある。今回は2に行ってみた。飛び込み台で遊んだり、泳いだり、湖畔で日光浴したり。ここもかなり癒やしの空間だった。入場料20,000LAK(=約145円)。 9.ヴァンビエン パラモーター ヴァンビエン名物アクティビティの1つ。夕陽or朝陽の時間に合わせて空を飛べて最高に気持ち良い！今回は時期的に空がかなり白味掛かっていたのだけが残念😇飛行時間は約15分。80US$(=約12,130円)。 10.ヴァンビエン Peeping Som'sの「シンダート」 要はタイのムーガタ。ヴァンビエンでは韓国焼肉のお店と合わせて何軒か密集して営業していた。野菜も摂れて安くて旨い！59,000LAK(=約425円)。 #laos #huayxay #pakbeng #luangprabang #vangvieng #vientiane #ナムサイビューポイント #namxayviewpoint #プーシーの丘 #phousihill #カオソーイ #khaosoi #ブルーラグーン2 #bluelagoon2 #シンダート #sindaat #旅人 #traveller #一人旅 #世界一周 #たびすたぐらむ #旅行好きな人と繋がりたい #旅の記録

Laos slow boat with beautiful scenery, people, animals and a bonus sunset😍. This was the first of the 2 days trip from Huay Xai to Luang Prabang. The price was 450.000 Kip which is 20 Euro and the trip took about 8 hours. This boat had 2 European style toilets and a small kiosk on board but every boat is different. The seats are loose old minivan seats and the ones at the back have a bit more space but it's more noisy because these are closer to the engine. You'll get a seat number but in the end most people take random seats. There's a 5 minute stop halfway but it didn't feel good to leave the boat. Right before sunset you'll arrive at Pakbeng where you'll have to stay overnight. 21/03/24, TDM J248, Pakbeng, Laos 🇱🇦 Quelle belle journée ! Nous l'avons passée au @mekong_elephant_park en compagnie des 5 éléphants qui se partagent les 80 hectares de terrain à leur disposition. Ils ont été sauvés de l'industrie forestière ou encore d'un cirque. 3 des éléphants ont de la même famille et ne s'étaient pas vu pendant 15 ans. Elles ne se quittent plus depuis leurs retrouvailles. Un éléphanteau est même né il y a 18 mois, et c'était le premier à naître dans le nord du Laos depuis 30 ans! Alors je vous laisse imaginer le drame quand il est mort de maladie il y a seulement quelques semaines. Espérons qu'ils arrivent à en avoir un autre dans quelques années 🤞 Nous avons pu assister à leur journée, composée de gourmandises, de baignade, de soins vétérinaires. Tout ça à leur rythme, en compagnie de leur cornac (leur soigneur, qui leur est dédié, parfois pendant des dizaines d'années) et de notre guide. On a pu avoir des tonnes d'informations, cuisiner des friandises pour les éléphants, découvrir les fruits de cette forêt. Un bon petit dej' de bananes, une rapide toilette, une ballade dans la forêt, une visite médicale motivée par de belles boulettes de legumes du jardin, et un gros bain dans le Mekong : Voilà le programme des elephants que nous avons visité aujourd'hui. Ça se passait à Pak Beng au nord de Laos. Le centre s'appelle le Mekong Elephant Park Sanctuary @mekong_elephant_park et est géré par des français en parallèle d'un hôtel. Il y a 1 mâle et 4 femelles. Chaque animal à un cornac (soigneur) attitré qu'ils gardent pendant des années. Les animaux ont été recueilli dans des cirques, des exploitations forestières ou des parcs touristiques. Le parc a perdu son seul elephanteau cette année et c'est un drame car les exploitations forestières ne travaillent pas assez à la reproduction, donc la population va beaucoup baisser dans les années à venir au Laos. Il n'y a déjà plus d'éléphant au Vietnam. Les elephants sont surveillés de près car ce sont des coquins et des gourmands. Ils pourraient visiter les villages alentours et dévorer les plantations de cannes à sucres et bananeraies et finiraient tués par les villageois. Ici il n'y a pas de chaines, les visiteurs ne touchent ni ne nourrissent les animaux, pourtant on a le plaisir de suivre les animaux au plus près et grâce aux explications, de bien comprendre leurs caractères et leurs interactions. On se sent en sécurité, ou en tout cas on a le temps de se replier si l'animal est trop près. Une super journée. #elephants #mekong #pakbeng #pakbengelephantpark #laos #tourdumonde

Après Luang Prabang, nous prenons le "Slow Boat" pour remonter le Mékong sur 310km afin de rejoindre la frontière thaïlandaise et découvrir Pakbeng et le Sanctuary Elephant Park tenu par des Français. Le trajet nous a pris 19 heures de coolitude... Nous y avons découvert un autre visage du Laos avec sa population vivant du et au bord du fleuve, l'orpaillage, les cultures,...
