Once a sailor, always a sailor! We’d convinced a boat tour operator to let us put their sails up! The boat was setup to motor (a modified Catamaran with 2 outboards) around this small island at the south tip of Samui Island for snorkeling and island hopping. Apparently, the sails would be up for photo shoot only! Well, I think we’ve shown them that their boat can actually sail! 😂 they were nervous but were willing to let us show them how it worked, thank you! 😊 it was just a short day sail ⛵️ but was worth it! Nun sind wir wieder in Phuket angekommen! Auf den Weg hierher haben viel erlebt! Kein Wind, starker Wind am Ankerplatz, Wind von vorne und aus der falschen Richtung! Aber am letzten Segeltag konnten wir endlich die Segel setzen und konstant mit 5 Knoten segeln. Dann haben wir uns noch einen Tempel angeschaut, der wohl nicht zu den Hauptattraktionen der Touristen gehört. Wunderschön angelegt auf einen Hügel und wir waren komplett alleine. Was für ein schöner Abschluss. Jetzt machen wir die Shangri La wieder fertig, um sie für 9 Monate alleine lassen zu können. Es klappt nun immer besser!
