Do what makes you happy. Live life on your terms. It took me years to find the courage to simply STOP torturing myself for being me…wild and open-minded, with an ‘outside of the box’ view of life. It took a similar amount of time to be comfortable in my body after a teenage eating disorder, a long & damaging abusive relationship, cancer scares, an ongoing auto-immune disorder, a decent shot at bodybuilding (having your body judged will thicken your skin no-end believe me!) & numerous devastating pregnancy losses taught me more and more over time to let go and damn well embrace my body. We are but skin and bones. In fact scientifically we are atoms with space separating them, so in a way we’re all just amazing creations using space. We should be ALLOWED to feel the sun on our skin…no matter what shape, age, gender, ethnicity or size. Without shame. But within reason and at the right time and place of course! And so I do. And I hope my boys grow up feeling liberated and happy in their skin too…freed from the pressure of a world of perfection and aesthetics. But don’t be like me and wait… Live authentically from the moment you realise you can…because we are all simply teeny tiny amalgamations of atoms in a mind blowing universe - united by our similarities & by love - but, unless we make a significant mark whilst we walk here - in 3 generations time we will be dust and we will be FORGOTTEN. All we leave behind is our spirit…so be spirited to the max! Just be sure to work hard, be kind and mindful too. And remember this: mean people always punch up. The ones who judge you without knowing you, the ones who question your life choices…they are also the people who wish they had the balls to live life how they truly wanted to as well. Pisaliśmy już o systemie kaucyjnym, który ma zostać wprowadzony w Polsce od przyszłego, 2025 roku. Dziś przyjrzymy się rewolucyjnej inicjatywie poznańskiej sieci badawczej, dzięki której zwrot kaucji na konto ma być prosty i dostępny „od ręki” 🔂 System kaucyjny obejmie plastikowe butelki do 3 l, szklane do 1,5 l oraz metalowe puszki do 1 l. Za każde opakowanie klienci dopłacą 50 groszy kaucji, która zostanie im oddana przy zwrocie opakowania🔄💰. Zmiany będą dotyczyły sklepów o powierzchni ponad 200 m². Łukasiewicz – Poznański Instytut Technologiczny uczestniczy w opracowaniu 👉recyklomatu, który umożliwia zwrot kaucji bezpośrednio na konto bankowe. Co ciekawe, nie będzie potrzebny ani telefon, ani karta płatnicza – wystarczy użyć zaprogramowanych słów kluczy. 📌„Tworzymy algorytm, który pozwoli zakodować dowolny numer konta bankowego za pomocą kilku słów. Podczas zwrotu butelki przy recyklomacie wystarczy powiedzieć na przykład ciąg trzech określonych słów i kaucja automatycznie trafi na nasze konto” powiedział kierownik Grupy Badawczej Urządzeń Elektronicznych w Instytucie, Tomasz Markowski. Pierwsze testy recyklomatów odbędą się już w czerwcu 2024 roku. Z doświadczeń krajów, które wprowadziły system kaucyjny wynika, że na sukces systemu ma wpływ: ▪️ wysokość kaucji ▪️ wygoda zwrotu W zawiązku z tym poznańskie recyklomaty mają być ustawione w miejscach publicznych, takich jak parki, plaże czy centra miast, pod szkołami czy w okolicy małych sklepów, co ułatwi zwrot opakowań🏙️🏫🏖 System kaucyjny to część szerszego planu wdrażania unijnej dyrektywy SUP (single-use plastic), mającej na celu zwiększenie odzysku butelek jednorazowego użytku do 77% w 2025 roku i 90% w 2029 roku 🇪🇺♻️ Innowacyjne technologie w zakresie systemu kaucyjnego stanowią obiecujący krok w kierunku ograniczenia ilości plastiku w środowisku i osiągnięcia nowego poziomu efektywności recyklingu. _____ #internationalsailingschoolassociation #preventplasticpollution #sailingschools #yacht #sailingboat #sailinglovers #sailingpassion #sailinglife
