We got off the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at noon, walked around to look for a restroom and landed at Blue Bayou. We took our chances and asked about the possibility of a reservation for 3 today (we were thinking anytime) and the hostess said, oh, I have a table for 3 open now! Important: they serve cocktails here.. and the Hurricane was no joke. We got some rolls, gumbo, the fish (so delish), and the Monte Cristo. Ever wished you could dine inside a Disney attraction? Look no further than Blue Bayou In Disneyland’s New Orleans Square! 💙 This famous restaurant is actually situated INSIDE the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and based on the fact that it is still one of the hardest reservations to get at DLR, I know I’m not the only one who answered yes to that first question! 😂 Blue Bayou set the standard for what we now know as Disney immersive dining and there is an element of magic that lives in this beautiful space where the restaurant exists in perpetual dusk along the banks of the Louisiana bayou. Bask in the soft glow of lanterns swinging from moss-covered trees as you listen to crickets chirping, frogs croaking, and watch boats drift along towards rougher waters. ☠️ Although Walt did not live to see the restaurant open, he visited the space and even sampled items from the menu prior to its debut. Blue Bayou was finished before POTC was ready, and Walt wanted both the ride and the restaurant to open together, which finally took place in 1967. The food is elevated Louisiana fare and we found it absolutely delicious when we dined there for dinner. Pictured are the Blackened Shrimp, Rosemary & Sea Salt Brioche, and the Deviled Crab-Crusted Filet Mignon. 🥪 Tasty Tuesday!!! The Blue Bayou in Disneyland is probably one of my favorite places to sit down and eat! The atmosphere is amazing! We get to see the boats pass by from the Pirates of the Caribbean! The food is really good! The one thing they’re known for is the Monte Cristo Sandwhich! It’s a deep fried ham and cheese sandwhich with jelly to dip! Soooo good!!! Another thing I love is the Lousiana Lemonade!! So refreshing and delicous!! TRAVEL AGENT TIP: When you check in for your reservation, talk to the host and ask them nicely to sit next to the water! That's the best view and where you hear the "crickets" the best! . 先輩のリクエストで夕飯はブルーバイユー・レストランへ。 バイユーは最高が保証されてるから、1ヶ月前にプライオリティ・シーティングを取ったときからずっとワクワクしてた！！ 昨年のクリスマスに続いての来店。 いまのスペシャルコースでは、前菜，アントレ，デザート、全て2種類からどちらか1つを選べるようになっていました。(何を選んでも料金は変わりません) 前菜は安定のオマール海老のシーフードガンボ アントレは豚フィレの低温調理とローストビーフ デザートはスペシャルデザートプレートをチョイス。 バイユーはお飲み物がコース代に含まれていないので、40周年のスパークリングドリンクをオーダー。ドリンク代に+600円でコレクタブルグラス付きになるというので、わたしは記念にグラスも付けました！ ドリンクはゼリーやごろっとした果肉も入っており、とても美味しいドリンクでした！ 約1時間半ゆっくりおしゃべりとお料理を楽しんで、優雅な時間を過ごせました☺️ #tokyodisneyresort #東京ディズニーリゾート #tdr #tokyodisneyland #東京ディズニーランド #tdl #bluebayourestaurant #ブルーバイユーレストラン #disney #ディズニー
