Cleo is a shy, mellow lady who likes to sit on laps & purrr 💕 she doesn't seem to like other cats at all & barely tolerates Theo ( lots of hissing from her) . . Theo is a big teddy bear who just wants to play & cuddle. He has done well with new cats (they hiss, he has no reaction & backs off 👍) and with well behaved dogs (he had no reaction just mild curiosity). . . A photo montage. Every time mom finishes her workout, I (1) sit at the door before she takes her tub and demand the hair tie off her head. Mom has tried to pawn off a clean one or a scrunchie on me before. But that won’t do. (2) Mom gives me her hair tie because who would say no to this face. We have a kitty drop next week that will include two lovely young adult kitties! This will be our last drop for a bit as we are taking December and January off from fostering. This gorgeous girl, Pastry, will be available for adoption next Tuesday. She is an incredibly sweet girl! Happy International Cat Day! I know you've all seen a lot of our pup Raven but we also snuggle with 4 cats at night. From Left to Right: All cats named after musicians. Ziggy - named after Ziggy Stardust aka David Bowie. She is our only girl kitty and the bravest of them all. Otis - named after Otis Redding. He is sleek and stealthy. Drools when he gets chin rubs. Freddie- named for Queen's Freddie Mercury. He unfortunately is a bit of a bully but like most bullies, in reality is a big coward. But he can be so sweet and cuddly with us humans. Ziggy, Otis and Freddie are all from the same litter. Last but not least: My Soul Cat! Arlo - named after Arlo Guthrie. We got Arlo with his brother Woody (Guthrie) but sadly we lost him a couple years later and then we got Arlo new siblings. I think he would have been fine as a lone cat but he tolerates them.
