If you want pet supplies that won’t break the bank @petexpressph is the shop for you, make sure lang na you know what you need and stop looking at other stuff kasi sa super budget friendly nila there’s plenty to buy even if hindi na need heehhehe kaya shop with caution 😹 This is actually the first day Bay wore harness kasi we bought one like 2 weeks ago, pero sadly ang hirap maghanap ng harness na kakasya sakanya since he is a really big boy, weighing 4.5 kg even if he is only 8 months old, so the normal sized harness for cats just won’t fit him. Buti na lang as i was taking my driving lessons i was able to chance upon this store during my break. Their staff were so friendly and really maasikaso. Sir kua meticulously aksed me things like if how old is my cat and how big he weighs, then he told me na Medium sized harness na si Bay, hahaha tho normally small lang dapat kasi di pa sya one year old. Tapos i even requested na gusto ko red harness para litaw sa color nya since Bay is an orange cat. So ayun halukay talaga ako with Sir Kua, then buti we found this last piece of tux harness. 🐾Welcome Dawson ( #A796840)to the rescue. He was found as a stray with a bandana on😢 Such a sweet dog in pictures and videos and yet no one came up to adopt him. Devore Shelter had him listed as being 8yrs old and when I took him to the vet, confirmed he's about 2yrs old😮🤔 I know a lot of people look for young dogs as opposed to senior so was unfair to him to get looked over for that reason😡 I gave him a medical bath cause it's flea/tick season and also gave medications for worms 🤢He is already neutered and received shots today. He has a wonderful temperament, literally sweet as pie. At barely 4 months old, Tiffy is still very much a puppy learning about the big world beyond the shelter. 🥺 Tiffy was hesitant to leave the shelter and needed encouragement, and with each attempt from the volunteers, she got closer and closer leading to her (possibly) first walk out of the shelter with me on Saturday! She looked so proud when we reached the deck overlooking the stream in the Baylands (pic 1). We worked on Tiffy’s reactivity to bicyclists by getting her to pause and let them ride by and when she stayed calm — clicker, and treat! 😋 By the end of the walk she didn’t need me to pause her at all. 👏🏻 Tiffy also didn’t want to go back into the shelter… 😂 We also tried to work on heel (pic 3) to some degree of success for short parts of our walk, which was challenging as the surroundings are all so new to her! 🤩 Tiffy tended to turn around during the walk as if to get another sniff in. Treat-motivated (pic 6), Tiffy has already mastered “sit” and “down” and on her way to learning more to become a well-rounded canine citizen. With kitten season upon us, we wanted to shed some light on single kitten "syndrome". If you’ve ever had kittens, you know how much they play together. Sometimes that play can become a bit rough. This is how they learn from one another the boundaries of fun play and not so fun play. In order to become well-socialized cats, kittens need to learn appropriate behavior from one another. If they don’t learn limits in their play as kittens, they often develop inappropriate playful aggression. In other words, it may be cute when a kitten attacks your ankles when you walk by or playfully nips at your fingers while you’re playing. It will be much less cute, not to mention painful, when they are full grown. If you feel that you are unable to care for two kittens, we highly suggest that you consider an adult cat in need of a forever home. FOR ADOPTION 🦴: This is Freya, who was rescued from the streets of Greece when she was only 4 months old and then brought all the way back here in Canada in 2020 during the pandemic. Since then, she has found joy and comfort in having a roof over her head, always ready for cuddles or for food. 🧆 Unfortunately, as she developed more anxiety towards kids and dogs in the same living space, she wasn’t in the best environment anymore and this is how she arrived among us. She is a Greek harehound mix, which is a rare breed that requires a lot of attention, dedication and many daily nature walks, jogs or hikes. 🏞️ She wants to be loved unconditionally and give that love back every single minute of each day! Meet Leo!! He is a purebred Boxer. He is sweet, loving, and extremely affectionate. And in classic Boxer fashion, he’s both a romping clown and a loyal guardian. There is nothing Leo enjoys more than cuddling up next to you on the couch. He loves to be around people. And he lives for long walks, as long as it’ not too hot. The ideal owner(s) would be able to give Leo lots of love and attention. He grew up during the Pandemic and became bonded to his owners, who were with him all the time and gave him a lot of affection. So the best situation for Leo would be one where his family is around during the day. Leo has been through obedience training so he’s good at walking on a leash and is very good at following commands like “sit,” “stay,” “place,” and others. Leo is in excellent health. He recently had a low-grade mast cell tumor removed from his back in 2023; the surgery was successful and he’s 100% free of illness. Leo isn’t good around small animals so be sure to keep him away from smaller dogs. Apollo is our extra-special, always-smiling, sweet dog in need of a unique and loving home. He is looking forward to using his brand-new shiny wheelchair and having his freedom back, hopefully taking walks in the neighborhood or even romps on the beach! He is still able to walk on all four legs but he has slightly limited mobility in his back legs (especially when he gets tired or sore) due to a congenital spinal issue. He has seen all the best specialists and fortunately no surgery is needed for him, just some extra support, kindness, and patience to help him live a full and happy life.
