Flowers and window reflection. I have my cats to thank for this one, or my forgetfulness when going to the store. Anyway we were out of cat food which meant a trip to the supermarket. If I am not buying much I walk rather than drive which means I will take photos on the way. It was a beautiful summers day so everybody was out and about. There was a great bustle vibe. As I was buying a couple of items, mainly ice cold beer and cat food I chose not to take the Canon buy opted for my iPhone camera. Its an old iPhone 8plus that I only use for photography. Well it doesnt really matter what I use as long as I get a great image. I was prepared to stand looking at the flower reflection for a while until the right person strolled by but I nailed it on the second shot. The most beautifully designed fold out leaflet with a town map drawn by the incredibly talented Elaine Gill came through my letter box in the run up to the Kings Coronation. I couldn't resist and marked out my route so I could visit and capture everything. The weather was typically British with plenty of rain at times but that didn't stop anything going ahead nor anyones enthusiasm for coming out as a town to celebrate the coronation. I have never seen the town looking so alive and 'happening', and in all areas of town, not just concentrated in one place. The vibe was amazing, I had a wonderful time, and felt genuinely proud to live in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The organisation and planning of this event was phenomenal done to the smallest detail, the signage, the graphics, the map, the detail !!! I could go on !
