Chapel Six Marshes Sound Tower. It looks like a yellow box. As you enter, the whole interior lowers to engage a view of the horizon. This also triggers a striking ‘gong’ that tells people on the beach it’s in use. We absolutely adore #AnderbyCreek in Lincolnshire 🌊 There are a few little curiosities along the beach from here to the North Sea Observatory and they are all a lot of fun to explore. Including the #SoundTower within the sand dunes of #ChapelSixMarshes… 🔔 This is a very striking viewpoint and you can see it from a fair distance (it personally reminds me of the “bad guy” from the original #SilentHill games back in the day and gives me an eery feeling every time I see it! 😆) but it’s so much fun to explore! The idea is to step onto the platform and let it help you to experience the sights & sounds of the sea in a unique way… as you step in, it doesn’t offer you a view, not until you allow yourself to trust it & let it show you… making a sound as you are lowered, it is said to create a “wind channel” that allows you to enjoy the amplified natural conditions around you. 💖 Have you been here yourself?
