When I started this hydroponic garden journey back in mid January, I had visions of salad ingredients always at my fingertips without a trip to the grocery store. While it's nice there would need to be quite a few changes/improvements like more than 1 electrical outlet per room, but when you think the house was built in 1888 you can be so surprised. I took the stack of temp squares and an totally all connected including today and the 2 space holders for April so technically I'm ahead for once. We took a walk around town looking for a place to munch but uhm small town and everything was basically closed middle of the day but this bridge amused so despite the rain and wind (omg that wind was cold glad my #ashmoreestates hoodie was in the car)... Of course, as Chicagoans, we know how fickle the weather can be so we’re masters of layering. Example: I’ve already packed away my heavy winter comforter in favor of a quilt. But I still keep a warm knitted throw nearby for the inevitable drop in temperature. 🥶 Same with clothes. Here is one of the outfits I’ve planned for the weekend. I brought my black and white capri pants out of storage. But my black flowy tunic stays out year round. I pair it with leggings and a duster cardigan or jeans and a turtleneck shrug. And now that I’ve taken out my black and white capris, I can wear them with a sweater and sandals or booties on a cooler spring day.😎 See? Layers! The penguins were a total highlight watching them get fed was hilarious. But it not being crowded amazing. The Ferris wheel you could see the Chicago skyline... An amazing day. #brookfieldzoo my #wlsblanket is 100% finished. I think this is my biggest wedding ever. Gray was just separation color. The others represent 25 lbs of weight loss so like 100-124 would be one color 125-149 another...I started in the middle of one and finished almost at another. So I edged with the next level where I think I'll stick... The changes have been amazing. Ability to get on an animal on the merry go round without issue and off is also insane. April 17 , 2024 high 68 low 50 crazy windy storms this morning then sunshine crazy weather. Like almost every year on this day it sucked. Before noon I was ready to beg my sup to just let me go home. Anxiety panic attack I couldn't shake myself out of. Irritated at almost everyone and def everything, especially just trying to figure out where to order lunch, which I decided let's do it another time. Dizzy just had. Nausea from Hades... Then about 2 it hit me I hadn't eaten anything but a couple popsicles since supper about 7 last night, good grief I wish I had a glucose monitor I'm betting I was low. Heard lunch I took just incase are 3 bites and was miserably full. I swear xino psycho path feels like she's doing a gymnastics routine that's never ending. I thought my bra was going to strangle me. April 8, 2024 high 71 low 56 super bright and sunny. And hello eclipse we saw about 94% coverage took an early lunch. The really good pictures were taken by our on site IT guy Chris. He happily shared thankfully mine weren't nearly as good. A couple funnies. And the picture on the right was a year ago, so decided a quick selfie for comparison. No filter, no makeup, no special lighting just me and my cracked lips but I like it. There's another comparison from the last 10k but it won't fit. I struggled photograph today's solar eclipse. I couldn't figure out how to photograph it on my coolpix p1000. I had to duck tape the solar filter I bought for the coolpix to the lens of my nikon d3400, which is smaller. The double image makes the sun look banana shaped in the more crescent photos. Even with all the camera issues I still enjoyed watching it. April 7, 2024 high 50 low 46... It's going to climb all night. Rained most the day, but was good for some errands. Might've reordered my torrid order to use my torrid cash that didn't take round one, I'll be doing a return next weekend but happy with what I got. Tried #foremanmills today for real bras and was told you aren't allowed to try them on, guy didn't see why you would need to... So here dude you can put my selection back up I'm not buying unless I can try them on. Found a nice one last night at #kohls for a decent price then another at #target . Both places didn't care that I had to try them on #wlsproblems you have no idea what size you are anymore. A bag ready for #salvationarmy donation of this won't fit again on I pray it never does. Robert needed half price books, I ended up buying a cricket pattern book of shawls though the description of ability seems wonky for intermediate and experienced... Broke down and I made a #crochetedpeep ... Other than feeling awkward at some points he was really easy, I'll be making a few more I'm sure. Wasn't sure the package of stuffing I ordered was worth it bc look how tiny it was. Then I opened the seal and it's still growing and fluffing... It's in a containment bag now.
