Oh hey, it’s me- Emma 👋 This past week I’ve had a lot of new faces pop onto my page, so thought I’d reintroduce myself with a few facts about me 🩵 •I’m a qualified hairdresser- 19yrs this year, but put down the tools in March 2023 to travel & work full time on my business. Grateful that I can be at home with my kids & contribute to the household. •I’m a boy mum of two crazies 🩵 who are polar opposites, in looks and personalities 😂 •I met my husband when he was working at a job at my parents house at 26- little did either of us know, we actually would of crossed paths from the age of 18, as I knew his best mate😂 We even have a photo together at a mutual friends 21st. I always wondered who that random guys hate I stole was ❤️😂 it was always you @__jack7__ •We sold our house in November 2022 to take our little family on the road. We sold most things, had no plans and just chased the warm weather. SA blew us away and was possibly one of our favourite areas. • Two days after leaving Perth, I found out my brother has Alzheimers 😭 there was many factors into us coming home after 3 months of epic travel, and a big one was Mitch🩵 home was were we needed to be! •I’m a sucker for chocolate! I turned 3 months old yesterday! I’m thriving at home, and my parents and family and friends are rocking caring for me with all my equipment. Tomorrow I have eye surgery to investigate some damage my mom discovered while I was in the NICU. They’ll be reattaching my retina and collecting cells to rule out retinoblastoma, a type of eye cancer. On my second surgery and I just turned 3 months old! Prayers and especially that it’s not cancer, please! Sicken helg ändå! Mamma har varit i Stockholm på årsmöte med @svdownforeningen Hon har fått fortsatt förtroende av medlemmarna i landet att sitta kvar i Riksstyrelsen under ytterligare 2 år.. Grattis till henne! Och övriga styrelsen så klart! Själv har jag hängt med pappa och Meja hela helgen. Varit ute och snickrat och tittat på pappa som fixat mer i Mejas lekstuga. I sommar kommer hon kunna sova där.. om hon vågar vill säga! Vi har haft spontanbesök av mammas gamla kollega som hade vägarna förbi. Trevligt för oss men tråkigt för mamma som missade! Men vi gjorde som hon lärt oss, kommer det besök så bjuder man på fika! Allt annat är skamligt! Sen hade vi mer besök idag när vi hade hämtat mamma på tågstationen. Unsere heutige „Eiszeit“ in der @eisdielenart_herbolzheim war eher zu einer Stammtisch bzw. Frühschoppen Zeit, mal abgesehen vom wahrscheinlich höheren Niveau, haben wir einfach noch die trockene Phase des Tages genutzt. Das ebenfalls angenehme zu dieser Uhrzeit, der Spielplatz war angenehm leer, so dass der kleine Mann auch mal auf die große Rutsche konnte, ohne das Gewusel von anderen Kindern. Leider hatten wir Schaufel und Co. vergessen, aber zum Glück hat man ja zwei gesunde Hände, um im Sand zu buddeln. Als der Regen einsetzte sind wir dann fluchtartig heim geradelt. Nachmittags haben wir uns dann mit Bau von Mats neuem Lieblingsspielzeug vertrieben. Vor einigen Wochen haben wir diese Kugelbahn von @hubelino (unbezahlte Werbung, da selbst gekauft) üentdeckt. Seitdem ist Mats schwer davon begeistert. MY FIRST COMMUNION Para quienes se preguntan cómo se llegó hasta aquí: En primer lugar nos lo propusimos y luego se consiguió una iglesia que nos apoyara con una catequista especializada en Educación Especial. Asistimos por 9 meses a la preparación con el grupo. Buscando una mejor formación y para reforzar conocimientos Otto además recibió varias sesiones de catecismo privado con su catequista en la iglesia. Esas fueron sus clases favoritas. Nada fue obligado. En este camino siempre se mantuvo interesado, entusiasmado, de buen ánimo y tratando de comprender la vida cristiana y el significado de la religión. Por meses leímos de noche, antes de acostarnos, una Biblia adaptada para jóvenes y niños y por supuesto que asistíamos a misa los domingos. No fue fácil y aún no ha asimilado muchos conceptos que tienen que ver con los misterios de la fe, pero lo más importante es que ama y cree en Dios. De verdad, nunca pensé que llegaría el día en que Otto recibiera al cuerpo y la sangre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, pero como otros retos, este también se logró.
