CONFERÊNCIA CLASSICAL PILATES 2024 - Essa é a forma que recarrego minhas energias e me faz ficar cada vez mais íntima do método Pilates! Cada passo que eu dou em direção à essência, à raíz e à base, mais eu sinto que, realmente, vivo a Contrologia nos meus dias e nos meus atendimentos. Ter contato com profissionais que compartilham do mesmo sentimento, faz meus olhos brilharem e aumenta ainda mais minha admiração e respeito pelo sistema! This weekend we’ve been traveling to the #classicalpilatesconference . It’s lovely to see how many friends and acquaintances from the #vintagepilates family you meet here. A great event to get new inspiration and connect with interesting people! It was a very special pleasure to meet @brookesilerpilates! I’m sure most know her from her book ‚The Pilates Body‘ wich has been translated into several languages and translates to ‚Slim and beautiful with Pilates‘ in German. 😹 It was a booklet in A5 (!?) format, the only manual for classical Pilates known to me at that time. I still have a copy in the studio for review. I don’t know if I would have had the courage to take a Pilates teacher training without that easy to read book. It was a great honor to experience Brooke Siler live this weekend as a laid back old hand in the industry! I look forward to seeing her again! I was brave and signed up for the special cases workshop as an example of muscular imbalances. And it was just like #jaygrimes taught us, that a good teacher excels in choosing the right exercise, and you don’t have to talk much, because the pilates athlete can feel the result directly. A great experience! 🫶🏻 Once again it was refreshing to see @glopilatesemotion! So tue to the Method with a unique talent for getting to the heart of the big picture in an entertaining way. „Connect instead of correct!“ Meeting Joel Crosby live felt like seeing an true friend. It was inspiring and challenging to try out his ideas for the work and think again about flow and springs and getting clearer. Thanks Joel! Making @kenkrech’s calm voice heard is worthwhile for anyone interested in giving more expression to their own inner voice. Just do it! I think it’s hard not to like him! Hi, My name is Kati and I am a pilates teacher. I have been teaching since 2006 and this is my 13th year of running a pilates studio which is now located in Eastern Finland in Kuopio. I have dreams. 🔥🚀🇦🇺🇳🇿Eric Carlovich, an expert in the Classical Pilates method, is a great teacher who I had the pleasure of meeting on two incredible first dates. With his mother also being a pilates teacher, Eric has been immersed in the practice since he was 17 and now travels the world to share his knowledge and experience.🇦🇺🇳🇿 During my time with Eric, I had the chance to experience the Guillotine, a unique device used to finish classes and target specific areas of the body. Joseph Pilates called it the "gym in a door" 🚪and students love to challenge each other with the super advanced exercises it offers. 🔥The Guillotine springs can be quite challenging, but Eric's guidance helped me to keep the bar aligned and at the right level.
