Happy Earth Day and birthday to my favorite park! . Disneyโs Animal Kingdom is probably my favorite Disney park. Thereโs not the most to do here, but from what attractions and other activities that are home to animal kingdom, they are some of the best. Flight of Passage, Dinosaur, Expedition Everest, and Kilimanjaro Safaris are some of my favorite attractions on Walt Disney World property. I love seeing all of the animals and feeling like Iโm out in nature while being in a theme park. I spent A LOT of time at DAK on my program, which I truly loved. I even spent Christmas Day here with my family. During Christmas time, DAK had this beautiful tree of life wall located between Discovery Island and Pandora. This wall changes within seasons, but I think this phase was definitely my favorite while being on my program. DAK was also the first park outside of my home park that I picked up a shift at (Rivers of Light holds a special place in my heart). Missing my Em a little more than usual today๐ฅบ . Emily is one of my roommates that I quickly became really close with. Sheโs the best support system you could ever ask for, and sheโs always super encouraging and looks out for the best for you. We spent so much time blast CeeLo Green in my car, enjoying some retail therapy, crying during movies, and having date nights together. We had frequent date nights at Epcot where we would eat at a restaurant in one of the pavilions (my favorite was when we ate at the San Angels Inn), walk around the World Showcase, and go on Spaceship Earth to see the stars. I would do ANYTHING to be back at Coronado Springs Resort eating a Mickey Bar . Most of my resort stays have been at Coronado Springs Resort. Whenever I come with my family, thatโs usually the resort we end up staying. Itโs such a beautiful resort with a beautiful lobby, great pools, and great food at the different food and beverage locations. Iโve only ever stayed at Coronado Springs and All Star Movies. I would really love to be able to experience other resorts and am hoping to in the near future. Resort hopping is one of my favorite Disney activities; I love seeing all of the theming that each resort has to offer and taking pictures there! My dream resort to stay at is the Polynesian Resort. Missing days filled with pixie dust and adventures with friendsโจ๐ . I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a couple hours with Kacey on my last trip to WDW. Kacey and I went on a resort adventure where we walked around Pop Century, skylined over to the Riveria, and hung around over at Caribbean Beach. At the Riveria, we played a life size game of pool with soccer balls and we played life size chess over at Caribbean Beach after we had some lunch. It was my first time playing chess and both activities were a ton of fun. I definitely love hanging around the resorts and seeing what fun activities they have to offer. Kacey has been one of my closest friends ever since I started my on the job training over at Hollywood Studios. We got to do our cast preview of the skyliner together, we ran the cast 5k at DAK together, and I was fortunate enough to be able to be her photographer at her last day at Studios before being deployed to the TTC during the fall program (among countless other monumental memories). Rachel Fernandez is one of the best things that the Disney College Program ever gave me๐โจ . Rachel and I have been friends for over a year now and I couldnโt be more grateful for her. We met through the Facebook pages before we even applied for our Fall 2019 DCP. We went through applications and decisions together, and were finally able to spend time together when I moved down to Florida in August. Sheโs always had my back and we instantly became best friends the moment we started talking. Iโm forever grateful that we both have our New Jersey connection that got us to start talking. Rachel is one of the strongest people I know with the biggest heart of gold and the kindest intentions. Sheโs going to go so far in the world, and specifically in the Disney company. On our way to Pandora from Africa, I asked if we could stop and sit on this bench for me to reflect for a minute. This bench was the exact bench I was sitting on on March 12, 2019 when I found out that I was accepted to the Disney College Program. My Disney College Program may be over, but I still have some fun pictures and adventures to share. On my last day, I went and took pictures at the casting door with some pals. What was really special to me about this was that while we were about to take our pictures, some other departing CPโs behind us were waiting too and started talking to us. They were saying they wish they had portrait mode on their phones that way they could have nicer pictures, so I told them Iโd take pictures for them and airdrop it to them. They were so appreciative and it was so fun being their photographer. They were the sweetest girls and it just reminded me of how easy it was to make friends on the program because (almost) everyone has an incredible kind heart that will talk to you as if youโve been friends for years. Alright, let's get down to it and get real honest here folks, who is sick of Instagram? I know itโs annoying to hear people talk about this, but I've definitely noticed something that has been off. โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ I love being real with my posts so I just wanted to address this topic today because one of the qualities I love about this account and community is being able to discuss everything Disney with you all and getting your opinions on things happening within the company. To be quite honest, itโs very discouraging to post and see that no one is engaging with your content because they aren't seeing it. โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ Hopefully going into the new year things get a little better and we can get back to were it once was, however, I know I can't blame this all on Instagram and with that I have to put work into this account as well. Therefore I'm making it a point to push myself more by researching new events and sharing my reviews, staying more on top of current affairs, or just refreshing my content with brighter colors or new themes. 2020 is where I get back to the place that made me fall in love with what I share and why I came back down to Disney in the first place. Took some time to say goodbye to one of my favorite places today. I spent a good amount of time at the Seas with Nemo and Friends whenever I visited Epcot alone. I would always stay at the aquarium and feel at peace with the water around me. Iโm really going to miss going there after a stressful day and leaving feeling like a whole new person. Thereโs No Place Like Disney for the Holidays ๐โค๏ธ๐ Like many of you, the Christmas season is one of my favorite times of the year down here at the Walt Disney World resort. Disney really does pull out all the stops on decoration, entertainment and overall holiday cheer! While I may be a little behind on things, I am here now to tell you all about my experience on my tour that brought me right into the middle of all the Holiday season! A couple weeks ago I was fortunate enough to participate in the Adventures by Disney Yuletide Fantasy Tour! On this 3 hour tour, Adventures By Disney takes guests to visit some exclusive behind the scenes locations around the Walt Disney World resort where many of the Holiday Magic is created including Holiday Services, Disney Event Group, and Amorette's Patisserie. Below Iโve broken down some of the stops and what they entitle: โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ ๐Holiday Services hosts all of the Holiday decorations for the Walt Disney World Resort & Disney Cruise Line and is also the place where new holiday decoration concepts are developed and created ๐Disney Event Group is home to many different departments that plan, execute, and deliver customized Holiday magic for guests. This includes the in-room celebrations department, custom group event team, and photographers that can create custom photoshoots for guests. ๐Amorette's Patisserie in Disney Springs is host to many delicious holiday treats, and here guests are taught by a professional baker on how to decorate their own cookie that they can take home. While this tour was short and sweet it was also super cool and knowledgable, especially the part where we got to check out the Disney Events Space (which is a new part of the tour). โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ Like most Disney tours it was filled with a lot of cool behind the scenes areas and places I didnโt even know existed. For those of you who want a little extra Disney Magic next holiday season, I recommend taking this tour if you are a huge Christmas person and want to know more about how Disney does it all! Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland โ๏ธ With both the Holiday season and Christmas quickly coming to an end I feel the need to talk more about all the awesome holiday offerings that WDW still has for guests (and my experience with them). One of my favorite things this holiday season has to be the addition of all the holiday decor to Animal Kingdom! While I had never visited the park prior to these additions, the decorations fit so well into the theming that it makes it feel like Christmas no matter what area you are in. Disney did a great job with its presentation of the Holidays in a place like DAK, especially with the Merry Menagerie animal puppets out in front of the Tree of Life. These have been hands down my favorite holiday offering this year and I love that Disney incorporated polar animals into a festive entertainment offering. While Iโve only had a couple interactions with the animals, each one has been so magical and has brought so much joy to my day โจ Let me know what your favorite Merry Menagerie animal is down below and why.

Spent Christmas Eve running around DAK with my adorable roomies. We met some characters, went on attractions, and best of all got our face painted (shoutout to our girl Rose). It was so wholesome and the best way I couldโve spent my first Christmas away from home. ITโS ALMOST CHRISTMAS ๐งธ๐๐Hey all, I hope that everyone is having a great Christmas Eve with their loved ones today and that you are all properly getting ready for Santa tonight ๐ ๐ป With Christmas literally right around the corner itโs been a very busy time for CMs and therefore it has been difficult for us to celebrate with friends and family. However, I was fortunate enough to have a bit of an early Christmas gift yesterday with my Aunt coming down to visit me here at Disney! Iโm thankful I was able to get the day off and show my favorite person around a bit more and expand her Disney knowledge (including introducing her to DAK). As many of you know this is the first year that Iโll not be home for Christmas and therefore Iโve been having a difficult time celebrating it like normal. Yesterday I spent my day off at Epcot with some good friends. We took the CP bus (my first time the entire program) and spent our day going on some rides, meeting characters, and hanging around the World Showcase. We stopped at The Seas with Nemo and Friends, which was the first attraction I went on as an official Cast Member, and my heart was so full being there because it has become one of my favorite attractions. Tonight was Secret Santa with my coworkers and as per usual, being the sappiest member of the group, I cried several times. We all went to Cracker Barrel for dinner and opened gifts in between ordering food and waiting for it to get to the table. Weโve been talking about going to Cracker Barrel all program and we finally were able to make it there. It was so nice to have a meal together and just laugh about our descriptions of each other when trying to guess who had who for Secret Santa. We then took our usual crazy self timer pictures and took forever to leave the restaurant since we didnโt want to go home (but had to because of having to get up at 4:30am for work ... yikes). I wasnโt sure then, but I am now.โ ๐ค๐ค๐คHey friends today Iโm here to discuss with you all about the latest Star Wars movie โThe Rise of Skywalkerโ and my thoughts on the final movie in the Skywalker saga. Even though this post comes to you a couple days late, I was fortunate enough to land tickets on opening night and I was able to get them for the AMC at Disney Springs ๐ Also just a quick heads up, if you donโt want to know anything about the movie I would skip this post, however I will still try and keep this as spoiler free as possible. Here are my thought bursts on the movie: โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โญ๏ธ It felt very frantic โญ๏ธ Therefore we didnโt really get to fully experience new characters and planets โญ๏ธ I honestly didnโt feel the excitement from the theater as I did the past 2 movies (and from small theaters in Michigan too) โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โญ๏ธ I didnโt leave the theater with that feeling you have after seeing a movie like this (unsatisfied maybe?) โญ๏ธ I still donโt know how I feel โญ๏ธ For some reason, after seeing this movie I have more of an appreciation for The Last Jedi ๐ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ ALSO to clarify this is not a bash on the movie, I did enjoy it and think it was good. It just felt very rushed and a lot was happening at once and therefore Iโm still trying to process my feelings with it. So Iโm going to take a couple weeks to digest it, maybe revisit the last 2 movies in this trilogy, and then go see it again to see if my opinions have changed. The face guests get when you tell them the price of their tickets during peak season โ๏ธ๐๐ ๐ปSo if you havenโt already noticed the Walt Disney World resort, and one Kacey Cassette, is in the middle of the busy holiday season here in Florida. People from all over are scheduling their vacations here for the holidays which means a lot of waiting, higher prices, and cranky guests. Followed our dreams and ended up amongst the lanterns . . Spent the night at MK with my wife even though weโre both dying of sickness. We took some fun pictures, went on Jingle Cruise, the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickeyโs Philharmagic, and Space Mountain. Once Upon a Christmas Time ๐ As many of you already saw, me and @carolineinthekingdom attended Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party last night! Sadly this was my last Christmas party of the year but I had a blast rounding up the season by showing my Sweet Caroline my favorite holiday tradition ๐ A really exciting thing about last night was that there were some things that I got to experience for the first time, like the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor Holiday overlay and the Hoedown Show in Frontierland. Earned my ears in August, five months later I earned my Mousters! . . Today was our service celebration to celebrate the (almost) end to my Disney College Program. At the service celebration, there was a dj, food, characters meeting to take pictures, and they were handing out graduation ears, alumni shirts, and magnets. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend with my roomies, who have been with me through it all from the start, and I got to see one of my coworkers for a much needed hug since I was very emotional being at the celebration knowing that my time is coming to an end. Iโve loved every single moment on my college program, good and bad, and Iโm not ready to see it go. Iโve grown so much as a person and really love and appreciate the person that Iโve become.
