Congratulations to the "S" Family! This group of ten will be staying in the Boulder Creek Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. In addition to the charming surroundings, including a waterfall, Wilderness Lodge has one of my favorite restaurants, Storybook Dining at Artist Point. Let’s talk character dining. Walt Disney World offers multiple character dining experiences. I have been to my share of character dining, and one of my absolute favorites is “ Story Book Dining at Artists Point” at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, one of the newer character dinings that opened in 2018. Now if you have never visited this resort, I highly recommend. The atmosphere and design of the resort are stunning. This dining experience is $65 per adult and $39 per child, plus tax and gratuity. It is on the more expensive side, but worth the experience. The shared appetizers start with a wild mushroom bisque, a wicked shrimp cocktail, and a hunter’s pie served on a multi-level leaf platter to fit the ambiance. You are then able to choose your own entrée: I went with the Royal Prime Rib Roast served with horseradish- mashed potatoes, carrots, a ju, and Yorkshire pudding. The meat was so tender and everything was cooked to perfection. For dessert, this was served just like the appetizers on shared platters: Miner’s treasures (cookies n cream pans forts, chocolate gems), Poison Apple (dark chocolate-apple mousse, sour center), and Fairy Tale Gooseberry Tart (Meringue and gooseberry) With all of the delicious food, you also get character meet and greets with Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and the Evil Queen. The food and dining was absolutely incredible and one of my favorite character dining experiences at the resort! Disney's Wilderness Lodge 🥾👇🏽 This lodge is absolutely stunning. At first I didn't know what the hype was all about but after visiting this past Friday, I can see why! 😍 The lodge also has stunning cabins along the water that you can rent that are super cute and surrounded by many gardens. There is also a large pool and a smaller pool (which is still pretty big in size) and a children's splash and play area. There are also walking/running trails, restaurants, bars, delicious coffee and food, a gift shop, and free transportation to the Disney parks. You can take the ferry to Magic Kingdom or take the bus to any of the parks and Disney Springs. Would you stay here? This is definitely one of the resorts that really surprised me! I definitely didn't think it would be this stunning. 🤩 Added to my Disney bucket list! ✅ PS: I absolutely love planning trips so if you need help planning your Disney vacation send me a message. The kitchenette has a small fridge and microwave. I love the full size Keurig with Joffrey’s coffee supplied.
