Reminiscing on a beautiful stay at the Grand Floridian! 🫶 The Grand Flo is such a gorgeous resort with one of my absolute favorite lounges- The Enchanted Rose. 🌹 Go at sunset for a special view & stay to watch the fireworks. 💥 I was lucky enough to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms with a castle view from the balcony! 10/10!! We had never been to this restaurant before and did not know what to expect and wow… it really blew us away 🥹 . . 1900 Park Fare is an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet with different menu’s for breakfast and dinner. You can meet Tiana, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Aladdin during the experience! What do all of these characters have in common? They made their wishes come true!✨ Which is exactly the messaging throughout the experience - that you (as a wish-maker) can make your wishes come true! . I absolutely LOVED this experience! The solid food selection (the Mac & Cheese was Daniel’s favorite), top tier service and friendly cast members, personal interactions with the characters, and the all-round ambience of the restaurant was what sold it all for us. The last time I stayed in a lux resort, we hit up #grandFloridian #citricos it was so nice to realize @waltdisneyworld takes care of its #celiac guests. Amazing food and times. I have a first floor lagoon view studio at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It has two dedicated queen beds and a sleeper sofa and is located very conveniently to the main building and the parking lot. The room, itself is very nice. The shower has some leaking issues when switching between bath/rainfall/and handheld wand functions. The water here also has the seven seas lagoon smell. Highlights from Day 5 of my solo trip to Walt Disney World 🖐🏼 The word Grateful sums it all up. Magical moments, Epcot... Magic Kingdom was so nice, I did it twice in the night. Picture this: I left Magic Kingdom around 10:30pm, took a boat back to Grand Floridian, got into my pajamas and sat in bed. About 50 minutes later I look at the wait times on the My Disney Experience app and jumped back into my clothes, hopped on the monorail and arrived back at the park. This was the first time I have ever walked onto Peter Pan's Flight! A five minute wait for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train? Well twist my arm! 🎠1900 Park Fare🎠 1900 Park Fare is back and open. We planned this whole getaway around getting back in to our favorite Walt Disney World Restaurant and heres my personal review: 🎠 The Drink Menu is FANTASTIC. 10/10 for sure. I had a regular Mojito (not on the menu). 🎠 The Buffet - 8/10. One thing I love is Disney Buffets are always so clean, well filled/stocked, and lots of choices. 🎠 The check in process - SUPER SMOOTH 10/10 - our Host was AMAZING. 🎠 Service - 10/10 - our waitress was on it. 🎠 Character Interactions - 5/10 - unfortunately we did not love the change in characters or our character interactions- with the exception of Aladdin! 🎠 Price Paid - 5/10 - the increase in price really prices out the typical family. For Delaney and I each with one drink (hers a mocktail, mine a cocktail) we came in at $193 after tax, gratuity. Both of my boys loved the splash pad at the Grand Floridian and they would stay in there for hours. They are great for smaller children and it never became too busy for us. We tended to go to the splash pad in the afternoon for a break from the parks. It was nice for the boys to run around and play.
