It has been an amazing week, from enduring the intense heat and humidity of Chennai summers to facing freezing temperatures in the stunning Himalayas. This journey marked my first foray into officially documenting the newest trekking trails in the Himalayas for a renowned organization. Transitioning from the scorching summers of the peninsula, with temperatures soaring close to 40 degrees Celsius, to the bone-chilling minus 4 degrees Celsius at high altitudes in the Himalayan landscapes was truly a remarkable experience. Witnessing the culmination of all the hard work put into completing this massive documentation task was truly gratifying. Trekking and capturing photographs simultaneously is a challenging feat, both physically and mentally. However, in the end, it was all worth the effort! Week in the Life is such a great way to reflect on how much there is to be grateful for in this Life of mine even when it’s both joyous & challenging within each day as it passes. Here’s to Moments of Joy in the sunshine, good coffee & beautiful views in both the cities I live & work in. Just a few more of the photos I’ve taken thar I hope to use in my Week in the Life project once we are done this week of observing the everyday moments that make up these very precious days. Thursday was a long day with OT at work so I asked Sean if he’d pick up a quesadilla for me to have for dinner from our neighbourhood Bar Burrito restaurant when I got home from work. Spent a little bit of time in the back room watching Next Level Chef & catching up together at the end of our day before I headed to bed. Friday was a busy day at Work but I didn’t stay too late & decided since it was supposed to rain most of the weekend I’d finish my work day with a walk through Mud Lake to take a few breaths, visit the wildlife that lives there & take a few moments to Meditate as I walked through the forest to the waterfront.
