Het weekend vloog alweer razend snel voorbij. Vooral gisteren was in een vingerknip weg. Het was nu niet om te zeggen het ideale klimaat om buiten leuke dingen te gaan doen, dus we hielden het zaterdag op een beetje in de tuin spelen en zondag op een dagje in huis. Adam besloot plots om niet meer naar school te willen. Waar hij vorige week geen dag over zweeg - school gaan, koekje, fruit mee - rept hij er sinds 2 dagen met niks meer over. Ook wanneer ik het hem vraag geeft hij de bevestiging, hij gaat niet naar school 😅. LINTJESREGEN 🧡 Een koninklijke onderscheiding voor Eric. Door een smoes werd hij gisteren naar 'de Rimi' in Dongen gelokt. Voor een vergadering van een van zijn vele dagelijkse bezigheden. Maar er stond geen vergadering op hem te wachten, maar de burgemeester en alle mensen die hij lief heeft. Na hele mooie woorden van de burgemeester werd hij opgespeld, het lintje. Nog wat officiële foto's met de burgemeester door de persfotograaf en toen snel naar binnen voor een borrel en om bij te komen van afgelopen half uur, want 1 ding is zeker. I love staying in the middle of jungles, hearing the crickets chirping, seeing snails at every step; plenty of earthworms and snakes too! Well, not really a fan of the latter or even former. Checking out the surf 🌊 . Absolutely perfect wind surfing conditions and they were absolutely making the most of it! I could see from watching Eric that he was impressed and intrigued. I think he’s going to love water sports as he gets older! . The wind was so strong just walking against it was the funniest of games!
The girls shared room reveal! I’m so excited to finally share with you Faith and Esther’s shared room. The girls were continuously asking us if they could have a sleep over in each others room most nights. Creating a shared room seemed like the best idea and it has meant that they are now both sleeping a lot better at night. They do take a little longer to fall asleep because they are often busy chatting and giggling before actually going to sleep but I love that they are creating memories together. The incredibly talented @withlovekaycee helped bring this vision to life with her amazing skills and advice. I couldn’t have done it without her. I hope you love it as much as the girls and I do 🎀🦢
