So, last week I started to a bit of a clear out at the caravan. Under beds, in cupboards and clothes that I hadn’t worn since I took ownership of the caravan. It was very cathartic. Roxy’s pram was a big item that I knew I didn’t need any more but had been struggling to part with because it had been such a big part of our short time together. In 2022, she suffered from a bad attack of vestibular disease. Initially it looked like she had had a stroke. It was terrifying and deeply upsetting as I’d only lost the beautiful Lady T, nine months before. We had 2 weeks of rest but I was beginning to go a bit crazy being indoors so much that I put a call out to see if anyone had doggy pram we could temporarily borrow whilst she continued to recover and I could get out with her again. A lovely lady gifted us this pram (these prams cost a bloody fortune!!!) on the premise that we would pay it forward when it was time. What was only meant to be a few weeks turned in to 18 months as it was Roxy’s favourite form of transport! She loved being in her pram. I put the call out at the weekend that it was ready for a new home, but little did I realise, the perfect home was round the corner. So here it is, with Roxy’s wee pal, Brooke. She’s taken to it like a dog to a pram! That bum 😍 Beans not been too well again, or me, so its a pooh time here atm. Bean, we suspect, has reinfected himself with Giardia, so he’s on his 2nd course of treatment. Its basically a nasty stomach bug, with parasites eating his stomach wall. He’s lost alot of weight and finding it hard to go for walks, up the stairs, or move like he did. Probably because he doesnt have the energy. He has been gifted a pram though, and we like to whizz around Brighton together, and it means I can smuggle him into lots of shops and take him into waitrose, mwah hahaha. Having never had children I am loving the benefits of the perambulator, fill it with stuff so Bean has spring onions and jars of kimchi rolling around with him, the cup holder is great for vego chocolate spread one side, olives on the other 😂 Prams are also good for barging dithering people out the way. And Im making full use of the “lets stop in the middle of the pavement to fanny about with the pram” thing that mums love to do. My revenge 🤣

Sunday walk with the dogs. Fry's arthritis is slowly coming under control again after he had to be taken off steroids 2 months ago . It's been tough . He can walk about 50m at a time now which is progress. And for the rest of the time we have a nice pram padded out with cushions.
