Mountains! . Everyone knows we have mountains in Oregon, but we also have lots of clouds…so it’s pretty special when you can actually see them. I was taking pictures of Mt Hood & Mt Jefferson, but when I zoomed in I was surprised how many more peaks I actually captured…Three Fingered Jack, the 3 Sisters, and another one way down south…maybe Mt Mcloughlin or even Shasta! . Not too bad for a phone through an airplane window. (I was sitting next to the exit door on a Boeing 737-9Max, so I was ready for the door to blow off so I could get a clearer shot)

I didn't get the sunrise I was hoping for this morning in the Columbia River Gorge, but the sunrays were definitely worth the 4 am wakeup call. And once again I ran into @davidleahyphotography, who is always nice to hang out with. Also saw another talented photographer, @heather_tianen, there as well, who brought her adorable dog with whom I am now best friends.
