Hope you enjoy this delicious recipe below et bon appรฉtit! ๐ธ๐ Clementine syrup (Part 1) 3 clementines sliced 1 1/2 cup water 2 tbs white corn syrup 1 cinnamon stick In a Pyrex dish, add sliced clementines, water, corn syrup and cinnamon stick, and microwave for 12 minutes. Once cooled, moisten the cake before spreading the chantilly cream. Bรปche (Part 2) 1 cup flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 3 egg whites, 3 egg yolks 3/4 cup sugar 1 tablespoon clementine juice 1 tablespoon water 2 tablespoons grated clementine peel ย Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk egg yolks until thick and pale yellow, gradually whisk in sugar. Stir in clementine juice, water and zest. Mix in dry ingredients. Whisk egg whites until stiff but not dry. Fold into dough. Roll out in a shallow 15 x 10.5 baking sheet, greased and lined with parchment paper. Bake at 325F for about 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and turn out cake face up onto a damp cloth dusted with icing sugar. Remove parchment paper carefully and brush with clementine syrup. Wait a few minutes to cool and spread the chantilly cream and while working quickly, roll the cake in the damp cloth. Unwrap the cake just before serving and dust with powdered sugar and serve in slices. Garniture Chantilly (Part 3) 1 cup cream 35% 1 egg white, beaten in peak 1/3 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla Whip cream and egg white, adding slowly sugar until peak is form, add vanilla. Definitely one of my all-time favourite cookies to make! ๐Hope you enjoy the recipe below et bon appรฉtit! ๐ Makes approximately 35 cookies Ingredients 1 3/4 cups 300 g almond flour 1 cup 250 g sugarโจ3 egg whites beat until light peak is formed 3 tbsp limoncello 1 lemon, finely grated zest 3 tbs lemon juice Sugar and icing sugar, for dusting Preparation Preheat the oven to 325F 165ยฐC. In a medium bowl, add almond sugar and mix well together. In another bowl, beat egg whites until soft peak is forme and fold gently into almond sugar mix. Add limoncello and lemon zest and juice, mix well together with a wooden spoon. In two separate small bowls, add some sugar and in the other bowl add icing sugar. Use your hands or small ice cream baller to shape walnutโsized pieces into balls, roll generously first in the sugar then in the icing sugar and place on baking paper-lined baking trays, leaving room for spreading. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies look slightly marked and the bottom is firm.Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely, then store in an airtight container for several weeks. Scrape the sides, stream gently olive oil and vegetable oil, process. Transfer the pesto into a glass jar, type Mason or Bernardin jar) and cover with olive oil. It helps to keep it from browning. Grate cauliflower into small pieces and microwave for 5 minutes and cool down. Add egg, herbs, spices, once cooled down, add cauliflower. Mix altogether and using you hand, spread cauliflower mixture to form a rectangle pizza. Add, tomato sauce, cheeses, peppers, mushrooms and basil. It has been a whirlwind of activity. Selling the large 1790 home and barn on 5 acres and moving to a small home on 8 acres. In less than 4 months we demolished 6 unsafe farm buildings. We had the land plowed, cleaned up, manure removed, and added soil and gravel and so much stoneโฆ Yet we will be adding a lot more stone in springtime. We have rid the entire property of the filth, grime, and smell the previous owners kindly included in the purchase at no extra cost. ๐คฃ We are 2 hours closer to NYC/our gorgeous girl. We have quiet, privacy, and very low overhead. We are planning to heat the house with wood for the coming winter. We will renovate the very unattractive exterior, replace all windows, and install an independent solar system as soon as doable. Spring 2023? Now that we have created a safe home for the 8 rescues we are focusing on decor. My master plan of a country cottage is evolving.. We live in 1000 sq ft in the country so yup, a country cottage. We have septic and a well so off grid independence is very near. I am recycling past purchases and a lifetime of special finds in Europe and the Americas. And leaning a bit more heavily than originally planned on West Elm and itโs partners. All that said I am so happy. So ready for a simple life filled with family and rescues and books. And quiet. Noise is my kryptonite. A quiet breeze is my fortress of solitude. I wish you all your own fortress.
