The Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin (eCG) is turned into powder, which farmers give to their female farm animals to increase reproduction rates? Investigators from the Animal Welfare Foundation (Tierschutzbund Zürich) discovered in 2021 that horses in these farms were being abused, as they obtained footage of the animals being hit before their blood was taken, and they documented bite marks inside the horses’ enclosures, likely to be a sign of distress and anxiety. The investigators exposed possible animal welfare violations, contrary to statements made by the pharmaceutical companies, blood farmers and veterinary authorities involved. . Welcome to the very first episode of our new travel show, "Livin' Like Locals." We're starting with the Ring Road of Iceland. This was a trip we did in the summer of 2021, just as countries were opening up to travelers. https://youtu.be/noB3CG575Fw In this video, we showcase our first few days on the road, as we traveled Northeast. We explore waterfalls, a crater, Lake Myvatn, as well as a "Game of Thrones" filming location. This episode takes up from Borgarnes to Akureyri. We explored a Viking Museum, visited our first Iceland spa, and visited the amazing rock formation known as the Dimmuborgir Lava Pillars. This was our first time traveling in a few years and as such we started fulfilling a long time dream of creating a travel show. These first few days on the Ring Road were so exciting as we loved exploring a new country once again - even if we had a drone crash! Kirkjufell | Snaefellsnes, Iceland . Known as “Church Mountain”, Kirkjufell is supposedly the most photographed mountain in all of Iceland. Although the mountain contains volcanic rock, it is not volcanic and is composed of layers of lava and sandstone.
