Hedral Pillars are yet another cryptic surface feature of Nekroplanet Grob. They appear in sporadic clusters of three to seven pillars, approximately 4 m in height. Wandering Hexahedrons are attracted to them, appearing near the clusters with alarming frequency, however the areas enclosed by at least three pillars in a cluster are the only places on the Nekroplanet where one cannot be randomly crushed by the Hexahedrons' movements. The Nekroplanet Grob setting and Wandering Hexahedrons are originally imagined by @gardensofhecate. I finally painted some of the Folk Horrors so lovingly sculpted by @gardensofhecate and produced by @andrew_may_meridian_miniatures I made some small conversions, sculpted some faces, added some items... Burlap Stone Tower & Ribbon Rope Fence Stone Tower was a dollar birdhouse from Walmart. The fabric was a plastic burlap bag I got from an online order. Saw the cocktail sticks in @dan_does_craft Gothic tank video recently and picked some up. And made a like Renaissance Faire/Festival themed fence with jute twine and embroidery floss. Also used similar beads Dan used in his video for the door hardware. Little scene at the end to put it all together. I still need to paint the cloth goblins which is what I based all this terrain around. Commando - the fourth sculpt for the Raiders faction of Nekroplanet Grob. Commandos are elite soldiers with expert training, combat experience, and high-end gear. Like the previous three Raiders, this figure was sculpted using Super Sculpey, Green Stuff, Milliput, and copper rods (for the gun barrels). The uniform green colour of the finished sculpt is from a thin coat of liquid green stuff. It feels like ages since I managed to sit and paint something with how mad this month has been. It may only be a tiddly one, but I actually had some time to myself to hobby. Possibly my favourite of the Grobnik artifacts/shrines by @gardensofhecate. Not until after I’d started the base that I remembered I painted the base a different colour for that setting on a previous mini. Oh well, it’ll make a great objective for other games and it’s not like I don’t have a second one.
