A few weeks ago Tman and I went on a random day trip to hike Gloss Mountain here in OKLAHOMA. It amazes me how different Oklahoma can look landscape wise the more you travel around. This is a cool place to visit for a short hike with amazing views. It’s only 2hrs away from OKC so it’s perfect for a day trip. There isn’t much else to do there but the views are worth it. We had a friend waiting for us right when we got to the top (keep scrolling)🫣

I walked up on two juvenile turkey vultures a couple weekends ago in the Gloss Mountains. I hadn’t seen one this young and these two I don’t think were flying yet. As I approached them they retreated into a thicket of sumac just below the rim of the mesa at the state park in Major County.
