Hanoch Levin hatte beim Schreiben die Irrfahrt der St. Louis vor Augen, die 1939 mit über 900 jüdischen Menschen von Hamburg nach Nordamerika aufbrach. Der Autor entwickelte 1993 aus dieser wahren Begebenheit eine universelle Erzählung von Flucht und Vertreibung, aber auch Hoffnung und Menschlichkeit. Am Sonntag ist unsere Ausstellung „Heino Jaeger - Man glaubt es nicht“ zu Ende gegangen. 😔 Wir haben uns über viele begeisterte Gäste gefreut, die mit großer Freude und Neugier in das Werk des Ausnahmekünstlers eingetaucht sind. 🥰 Gut verpackt gehen die Bilder jetzt wieder zurück zu ihrem Sammler Christoph Hofmann, dem wir an dieser Stelle nochmal herzlich für seine Unterstützung danken wollen. Vielen Dank auch an die Museen Stade für ihre Unterstützung sowie dem Archäologischen Museum Hamburg und Stadtmuseum Harburg für die Leihgabe der beiden Hörstationen.
