The purple artichoke variety of this popular vegetable does not lose its vibrant color when cooked and is prized for having a slightly more pronounced nutty flavor than its green globe cousin. My Review of FX’s Shōgun, a riveting tale of ambition and deceit within historical fiction: -The cinematography of the series takes care in establishing multiple locations found within feudal Japan and emphasizes the scope of the dueling factions or the community at large. At the same time, the makeup and costuming as well as the blended practical and cgi set designs help fully immerse the audience with the historical setting. The editing & pacing works to build on the momentum of the coming war, as well as cut between multiple characters as they manipulate and scheme off of one another. The music by Atticus Ross, Leo Ross and Nick Chuba and the sound design help create the tone that fits the dramatic/intimate moments or the action-heavy sequences. -The writing of the series utilizes language and translation as a tool to either separate or unite characters, highlight cultural differences and evoke how words have hidden meanings reflected in the dialogue. Within the nuanced text, recurring themes explored have to do with war, religion, politics, prejudice, fate/death, family, love and so much more; where the show takes on juggling a large amount of characters and focuses on the plotting/execution of people against each other, rather than just delivering on action, but still makes for gripping television. You've been asking about early plant starts, so I got some out on the stand for you!! Right now, we have kale, collard greens, scallion, spinach, Napa cabbage (to make your own kimchi!), and lettuce. The lettuce that is out there is special, and there are only 2 flats of it. The lettuce is salanova that I use in my lettuce mix. As it grows, it produces more small leaves rather than each leaf getting larger, making it perfect for baby lettuce all the way through its life. The seed is super expensive, so I don't usually sell it as it starts, but I had extra, so you're in luck! Stop by the farmstand to get your early greens going in your garden. Also, I have quite a few tomato and pepper plants left over from my greenhouse planting.
