We are definitely biased, but we are back at two of the best farmer’s markets in central PA this year. Find us on Wednesdays at Farmers on the Square from 3-7pm in downtown Carlisle. Grab dinner, get to know your local farmers, and shop from an amazing selection of locally grown food and flowers. Find us at Dillsburg Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8am till noon. Wow…was this day even real?? I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by today to say hi, check out the new flower cart, and support this dream of mine 💐 What started out as a rainy, dismal day quickly turned into our busiest, most wonderful pop-up ever! I’m not sure if it was the new cart, the nice spring weather, or pure chance that we had such great turnout, but I like to think it had something to do with the cart. Not only does it hold flowers, it holds a great deal of sentimental value. It’s an antique farm cart that belonged to my great-grandmother topped with a custom display built by the one and only @joshcsmith30 using wood from his great-grandmother’s old bureau. My goodness people! I opened the farm stand on Friday and have been feeling so grateful and energized by all of the support! Thank you so much! Tonight I realized I sold 15 dozen eggs in 3 days! 😳 Which is great however, I only had that many because I had a backlog of eggs beforehand. I've realized that I won't be able keep up with that demand all season long. I usually only get about 10-11 eggs a day right now and I'm not in a place to get more chickens...yet. I'm not sure what the solution is...so ideas are welcome. Should I only put them out on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays? Should I try to source them from another local chicken keeper? Or should I just put them out as I have them? There are plenty of other items in the stand after all! Mack’s Farmstand is officially open! It will be open 7-7 ish, 7 days a week and is self serve. We are located just outside of downtown Willow Creek, about two miles north of Hwy 299 on Hwy 96. The stand is on the west side of Hwy 96. We accept cash and Cashapp ($Macksfarmstand). We are still working on getting more signs up and other finishing touches but the stand is stocked! And there’s so much more coming soon! Our goal is to offer clean, organically grown items to our community at a fair price. We are excited to hear what you think! Any and all feedback is welcome. Hi, I'm Debbie! I'm the face behind Pine Lane Farm Stand. I'm a lucky lady, married to Harold and we have 4 wonderful kiddos. Three years ago we sold our house in the city, and moved back to Harold's childhood home, where we now live with our 4 children, and Harold's mom. This beautiful home was built by Harold's great grandfather in 1875. We love our animals, can't resist hatching new chicks, and find delight in a basket full of colourful eggs. Together we have gardened a mix of flowers and veggies for our home for nearly twenty years on and off. This will be a trial year as a small flower farm!
