The grooming has started and my style will never die. I will be adding a new package that will consist M-F where it will cost more, but it will be an even higher level of training. I could have possibly taken 4, but unfortunately I had to take my nephew/son Alex Donis out after winning his 73rd bout. He has been suffering an old nose injury and after winning his last bout on Friday, I had to take him out of the tournament. He was head butted on the nose and it was very painful. He will no longer continue boxing. It’s very heartbreaking for me to say this as a tio and coach. He is the 🐂 at donis boxing with 73 fights. He is the first to put me on the map in USA boxing with being ranked #2 and beat so many top level amateur fighters at the time. The good news is that my gym will be taking it to another level. We went 14-0 right off the gates and finished 14-3. Not what I wanted to finish with, but now I go back and I know exactly what I have to do to improve on. 1/1/2023: I FAILED Live Hard Phase 3. 75hard and Live Hard have been life changing challenges. The things I’ve learned through this have impacted me beyond what I ever expected, It has completely CHANGED the trajectory for my life. If you are looking to change your life, then take a hard look in the mirror - honestly assess yourself, and get after it. Start where you are, right here. Right now. You are the only thing preventing change or growth in your life. Take that responsibility and own it. - LESSONS: - Be honest with yourself. If you’re not honest with yourself and can’t hold yourself to higher standards - then you can’t expect the same out of anyone else. - BE TENACIOUS in everything you do. You won’t be your best if you’re not giving your most. Day in and day out. In whatever it is you are doing, be absolutely tenacious. - Step out of your comfort zone for growth. Do the shit you don’t want to do or that hard thing you struggle with on a daily basis. - Discipline and having a routine will outlast motivation 100% of the time. You will NOT always be motivated. Falling back on your discipline will get you through these moments. - It’s all in the details. Pay attention to the little things as those are actually what make the difference. - Appreciate the hard quiet moments. You’ll find your true self there. Bring your very best when you feel your very worst. - Mindset and Consistency are key: with literally everything in life. You can push yourself far harder and further than you will ever realize. The situation and your circumstances are what you make it. - Who you surround yourself with makes a huge impact on your life. Your success is also determined by this. - Failure happens. It’s what you do after the fact that determines where you’re headed. Stay strong. Take a step back, take a breath, and regroup. Set a direction, set a standard, and hold yourself to it. Make that commitment to yourself and get after it. Keep. Moving. Forward. Don’t squander the opportunity for growth or progress, no matter how incremental it may be. - LIVE HARD AND LOVE HARDER.
