Aidan stopped by BCFC and picked up a few dozen live shrimp and a sand spike to fish for some reds, trout drum etc in Sisters Creek. Little did he know that he was in for a real challenge. If you’ve never caught a big bluefish then trust me when I say these fish are a tremendously hard fishing fish with a mouthful of razor sharp teeth. So the moral of the story is if your line takes off like it’s hooked to a southbound car and all of a sudden the line goes slack it just might be one of these bad boys. The Blackfin Rods “5’5” “Dock Walker” put the old smackdown on the Sheepshead, Black Drum and Redfish while fishing the inshore rigs around Venice River House at Venice Marina. These rods are very sensitive at the tip and have a very strong spine due to their 💯 % Toray carbon construction that allows you to feel the bite and at the same time land big fish. For instance, during this recent trip to Venice Louisiana one of the fishermen caught a 43” redfish. Unfortunately the guy that was supposed to video the redfish fight decided to drink a beer 😂.
