Another early bday dinner. This time to @texasroadhouse Delicious country home cookin, like I love. We started with the cheese fries loaded with big chunks of bacon pieces. Pictured is the cheese fries, country fried steak (looked like that big ass brontosaurus rib Fred Flintstone carried around), delicious & perfectly done, mashed potatoes & gravy (you KNOW this), grilled shrimp, seasoned rice, green beans, sweet potato, country fried chicken with mashed potatoes gravy & green beans. Bad foodie. I simply could not wait, what can I say. Tornado Ashley destroyed the table. Steamed oysters, fried shrimp, slaw, & fries for me. Mahi Mahi, plantains, coconut rice, & their awesomely creamy smooth cheese grits for my beautiful wife. Oh & our virgin piña colada & key lime pie, cause we're not drinkers. Jumpin’ Jax House of Food We went in with a big group of about 12 and we called ahead. They had a perfect table off to the side ready for us. No one in our group had ever been here before. The staff was extremely nice and friendly and help with answering everyone’s questions about the menu. They also went above and beyond with our group by bringing us anything we asked for. Paul one of the managers at the Atlantic Beach location came over to check on us and make sure we got all of our food and make sure it all came out perfect which it did. He was extremely nice & brought us extra sauces. We had a wide variety of the menu items within our group and everyone was delighted with their food. Another broken egg One of the best breakfast restaurants I have been to. We got there and there was a line but it moved rather quick. I got their cheese grits which were amazing & the turkey mozzarella panini. The sandwich came with a homemade bacon jam which was delicious it added the perfect amount of sweetness to the sandwich. For someone who doesn’t love bacon this sauce was amazing! They also brought us a plate of biscuit beignets all because it was our first time dining which was pretty cool. They were good and had a powdered sugar topping on them with a sweet sauce to dip them in. Date night with hubs ❤️ . . We ventured out to Atlantic Blvd and landed on Siena’s Italian Cuisine. With delicious pastas and pizzas, lovely live music paired with a bottle of wine, Siena’s offers a relaxing atmosphere where can you just enjoy your night. . . I got the carbonara with chicken drowned in buttery white sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked and flavorful and the pasta was beautifully decorated with a generous amount of bacon.
