Paranoid London Arseholes, Liars and Electronic Pioneers Ma che carino questo nuovo album dei Paranoid London... potrebbe essere uscito tranquillamente a fine anni 80, in piena esplosione acid house, un disco che è la celebrazione di un preciso momento storico, però, a discapito del loro nome, più vicino alle produzioni americane che a quelle inglesi più "patinate", con l'esclusione di "Love One Self", splendida cavalcata acida che musicalmente è un incrocio tra "Ibiza" (1988) degli Amnesia e "Acid Story" (1988) di Dr Phibes (il ns Bruno Sanchioni), completata da una voce allucinata stile Alan Vega. I Paranoid London hanno colto il suono più diretto, più punk, più sporco di quell'elettronica, brani scarni, minimali, ripetitivi, essenziali ma potenti e pieni dell'energia, del magnetismo e del mood di un rave.
