Moorschneehuhn (Lagopus lagopus) Willow ptarmigan ||28.05.2023|| Nachdem ich schon eine Weile dabei war das balzende Männchen zu fotografieren fiel mir erst das Weibchen auf das in geringen abstand dem Männchen folgte, dabei immer kurze Strecken rannte und dann wieder stillstand. Ich fand es unfassbar wie gut es getarnt ist, denn ohwohl ich nun wusste das es genau vor mir rumläuft habd ich es nur ganz selten entdecken können da es so gut getarnt war. Selbst als ich wusste wo genau es stehen geblieben sein muss war es super schwer dir Konturen zu erkennen. Was man auf Touren in den Lyngen Alps in Nordnorwegen so zu sehen bekommt: ein Rotfuchs, Rentiere und eine Schneehuhn. Die Rentiere haben zwar Besitzer und Ohrenmarken, sie ziehen aber alleine wie Wildtiere durch die Gegend. Ein Elch und ein Schneehase haben unsere Wege ebenfalls gekreuzt, fotografieren konnte ich sie aber leider nicht. . ライチョウ（雷鳥） 那須どうぶつ王国は種の保全もお仕事になっているようで、ライチョウを育てて山に戻したりしておられます。那須どうぶつ王国をInstagramで検索すると写真の７割ほどはマヌルネコで、他もスナネコやその他で、ライチョウ写真は少ないのですが、私としてはまずライチョウが見られることに期待しておりました。 冬羽なのでほぼ白い。でも、オスは目の上に少し赤い色。 これは羽ではなく肉冠だとか。見られて良かった。 立山に行ったことはありますが、春の嵐でライチョウを探す余裕は無く、いつか山で見てみたいものですが、とりあえずそんな準備としてここで見られて良かったです。 #ライチョウ #雷鳥 #那須どうぶつ王国 #那須の旅 #動物園 #肉冠 #rockptarmingan #ptarmigan #lagopus #nasu #nasuanimalkingdom #zoo #zoologicalgarden #tochigiprifecture

Pardwa górska, lagopus muta, samica z młodymi, Landmannalaugar, lipiec 2023 Pierwsze spotkanie z pardwą było jak spotkanie ducha - w śnieżnobiałej, zimowej szacie uciekła przed nami po skalnej pustyni wyżyn Hornstrandiru, kiedy wspięliśmy się wreszcie na szczyt ściany. Prześladował mnie ten duch, ogarnęła mnie obsesja na jej punkcie. Zdawało mi się potem nie raz, że widzę ją w zacinającym śniegu, w skalnych rumowiskach porośniętych mchem, słyszę w zawodzącym wietrze. Byłam przekonana, że żeby powtórzyć to spotkanie, musiałabym bardzo wytrwale siedzieć przy tych skałach całą zimę, aż do śnieżnej ślepoty, odmrożenia kończyn i utraty rozumu. Latem 2023 roku tuż przy wejściu na pole lawowe z obozu Landmannalaugar spotykam ją z dziesięciorgiem piskląt na bardzo ruchliwym szlaku Laugavegur. Letnia szata pozwala im idealnie wtopić się w pejzaż, do tego stopnia, że inni turyści zwracają na nie uwagę dopiero wtedy, gdy wyciągam aparat. Odnotowują, ale idą dalej. Autofocus wariuje - nie może oszacować, gdzie kończy się pierze, a zaczyna mech. Jest idealna. Przeprowadzając stado za skalny uskok, stale nawołuje pisklęta, żeby nie rozpierzchły się za daleko. Maluchy są zmęczone, nie nadążają. Przysiada na ziemi i zbiera je wszystkie pod skrzydłami na odpoczynek. Patrzy na mnie wyczekująco, że dam jej wreszcie spokój. Chociaż nie schodzę ze szlaku, to wydaję jakieś dźwięki aparatem i to chyba jest przekraczające. Zakładam, że ona nie uznaje szlaków i mojej tu obecności. Ma do tego pełne prawo. Pardwy występują głównie w skalistym terenie na dalekiej północy i nie migrują. Wyróżnia się 23 podgatunki ze względu na różnice w letnim upierzeniu, ta tutaj pardwa być może jest typowo islandzkim podgatunkiem islandorum, ale nie podejmuję się oznaczenia jako że jest to jedyna pardwa, którą mam na zdjęciach, inne widziałam tylko wypchane w muzeum historii naturalnej w Oslo ;) Gniazdują wśród skał, na ziemi składają do 10 jaj, więc ta gromadka trafiła się szczególnie dorodna. Alpenschneehuhn (Lagopus muta) Rock ptarmigan ||25.05.2023|| Am Abend fuhren wir nochmal los, auf das nahegelegene Hochplateau am Orkelsjøen. Dort mussten wir feststellen das es hier oben nicht nur noch kälter als im ohnehin schon kalten Tal ist, sondern das eine fast geschlossene Schneedecke besteht aus der inmer wieder Kuppen mit spärlicher Tundravegetation herausschauen. Die Straße führt uns durch die unwirkliche Landschaft bis wir an einem Stopp schild anhalten müssen, leider ist die Straße bis zum See gesperrt. Doch so schlimm ist es nicht, denn die hier vermuteten Tundra Vögel sind bei so einer Schneedecke bei der alles zugefroren ist auch nicht da. Dafür fliegt beim aussteigen das erste Schneehuhn der Reise am wegesrand auf. Nach Bestimmungsschwierigkeiten ist klar, es habdelt sich um ein Alpenschneehuhn. Auf der nächsten Kuppe landet es und lässt sein Charakteristisches knarren ertönen. Willow Ptarmigan (Lagopus lagopus) are big-footed beauties of the Tundra that grace lucky parts of the Boreal forest with their presence during the depths of winter. I've rarely witnessed better camouflage than a hidden group of these mobile snowdrifts suddenly erupting into flight just a few feet from my car. This one was a bit less guarded as it was picking grit on a roadway a few minutes before sunrise. • White dream - Lagopède alpin La nuit glaciale laisse place à un brouillard givrant matinal. S'apparentant à un vide absolu, il ne parvient pas à couvrir les vocalises des coqs qui retentissent depuis les premières lueurs. Une corniche prête à décrocher au moindre mouvement semble servir de promontoir d'envol. Dans un froid déchirant, en subtile ponctuation d'un univers blanc désolé, il faisait fi de ce corps enterré dans la neige qui l'attendait. C'est ici, dans ces immensités chaotiques, rocheuses et enneigées que se dissimule l'une des espèces les plus discrètes de nos massifs. Et c'est ici que je la retrouverais... Une saison délicate pour la faune, où la moindre erreur de ma part peut compromettre la survie de ces colombes alpines. La beauté d'une photo réside dans le respect et la sérénité du sujet ! Une approche en silence et en douceur est indispensable. En ces lieux, aucune urgence, aucune raison de me presser, je suis libre de prendre mon temps. Chaque pas doit être réflechi. Il n'est pas à exclure que le caillou sur lequel je prends appui débaroule bruyamment dans l'éboulis ; j'ai pour cela du apprendre à me casser la figure en silence...et croyez moi, ce n'est pas évident ! Sur les crêtes abruptes la neige virevolte et tourbillonne, le vent s'intensifie. La perdrix des neiges, elle, reste figée, donnant l'impression d'attendre. Mais attendre quoi ? Cela restera un mystère. Dans l'ombre des roches, seul son regard ébène révèle discrètement sa présence. D'un léger mouvement de tête, elle me suggère de stopper mon avancée. Une fois de plus, le vent traverse les cimes entrainant dans sa course des milliers de flocons qui heurtent avec agressivité cette fragile étincelle de vie. "Fragile" ... mais étrangement fière et résistante face aux caprices de l'hiver. Mes doigts sont engourdis par le froid, mes yeux fermés face à la tempête, les lèvres gercées... la saison froide aurait vite eu raison de moi. Lagopède alpin - Lagopus muta - Rock Ptarmigan A plump, chicken-like bird that inhabits rocky tundra and alpine peaks. During the summer, the male (photo) acquires dull greyish-brown feathers on his head, neck and back, which are generally covered with large spots.
